The hosts have thought of so many extra little touches to make this property safe and convenient for short-term renters! There were clear instructions, smart technology integrated into the home security and climate control. Even the lighting choices for the stairwell and bedrooms was intentional for safety without sacrificing design. We were very grateful for the many considerate touches, clear communication, ease of access, cleanliness, and comfort of this home!
There were many amazing options of restaurants and activities nearby. This location was ideal and we hope to be back soon!
We enjoyed our stay in ROC, with this Swillburg home as our launching pad. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet and close (but not too close) to highways. We loved being located where we could walk to the Highland Diner, Highland Park (for the Lilac Festival) and our sisters’ homes (near Ellwanger & Barry Park). Off street parking was a real plus, thank you. We didn’t spend a lot of time inside when not sleeping but the few meals we made were challenging due to minimal dishes, utensils, but we made due. Although it is noted in the listing, there is no laundry and no vacuum to clean up after ourselves. Therefore, I’d say for a shorter visit this would have fit our needs better. A bit more TLC would be helpful (deep clean), but on the surface it is clean enough. The beds were comfortable and we felt we could communicate any needs well to our responsive host. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
