This lovely log home on Lake Bellaire offers a peaceful escape, with the lake sparkling beautifully amid northwest Michigan’s gorgeous countryside. Loons Landing comfortably welcomes up to six guests with its three cozy bedrooms and a friendly bathroom.

Inside, you'll find a well-equipped open-concept kitchen that seamlessly connects to the inviting living and dining areas, making meal prep and gathering together a breeze. Decorated with charming "Up North" touches, this Northern Michigan retreat exudes warmth and character. The living room, featuring a cozy gas fireplace, is perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

Step outside onto the welcoming covered porch to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Use the provided charcoal grill as you listen to the gentle calls of loons over the water. In the summer, gather around the fire pit, enjoy a picnic at the table, or have fun with the tree swing—there's plenty to enjoy! A lovely boardwalk winds through the wetland to reach the water, adding to the rustic charm.

Lake Bellaire sits just east of Lake Michigan, offering all-sport fun with swimming, boating, kayaking, water-skiing, fishing, and more. As part of the Elk River Watershed Chain of Lakes, it’s known as a true "Fisherman’s Paradise.”

We had a very lovely stay. The home is exactly like it is pictured. Comfortable beds. We had great communication from the host. The highlight for us was the dock. We spent nights fishing and even caught two 5-7 lb small mouth bass. My son also caught is very first fish here so this place will always have a piece of our heart. Thank you! We look forward to coming back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: TV didn't work for entire vacation. Dock was a safety issue. Grill & fire pit filthy never cleaned. Cupboard door falling off hinge. No place to park my Truck&Boat to unload. Enough said.

Peaceful cozy cabin by the lake

Cute, clean, cozy, quiet and very comfortable cabin. The cabin has everything one might need. We enjoyed the lake, reading on the porch and visiting Bellaire and Alden. Great communication with the property management co. Definitely reccommend..

We loved having our dog and boat with us on vacation! We ventured out to Torch Lake, which was about an hour's boat ride, but it was totally worth it!! Having a dock at the house was great. The house felt and smelled like a cabin, but it completely served its purpose. I would have loved to be able to see the water from the house, but not a long walk to the dock to sit and watch the sunrise. For the price the place is great!

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was cute and my family enjoyed the dock and having access to the lake from the property. Water pressure a little low in the shower but wasn't a big deal. We will definitely book again if ever in the area.

Great Stay!

Based on last years reviews I was expecting this to not be very clean but liked that we could bring our dog. We had zero complaints about how clean it was so were pleasantly surprised. Maybe new housekeeping since last year. Other reviews really helped with understanding the dock area and boardwalk so that was as expected. We had a great stay!

Very Tranquil

Very nice location and cabin. In the wood and on the water. Perfect place for quite and relaxation and close enough to town for fun and good food. Our stay would have been better if the dock had been put out. Only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was so low it barely rinsed the soap off.

Cute and cozy cabin. Only issue was that the door should have a keypad for easier access. Door box with key was difficult to get open. Outdated. Was quiet and peaceful and very comfortable. Would recommend having mirrors in each room as there is only one bathroom. Was decorated nicely in cabin decor! Communication was excellent and would definitely stay again!

October weekend

We spent the weekend with 2 other couples to relax, visit the brewery, see the colors, and visit the area. The cabin was a great location and was comfortable overall. The walk to the lake was beautiful and it was a nice quiet area. The beds were a little soft for our group but might be great for others. The coffee pot was a bit slow brewing for us....we were all coffee drinkers and needed our morning java. Overall, we would stay again.

Enjoyed out stay!

Overall the cabin was exactly what I expected and the photos matched the cabin. The interior/exterior was a little dusty. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Several of the light bulbs were burned out but property was prompted in bringing more. The path to the lake was a bit of a hike, but the new dock was nice to take in the pretty view of the lake. I would stay again, as it was a restful and peaceful vacation.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My family and I loved our stay in the cabin. The location is perfect, very close to downtown Bellaire and just a short drive to downtown Alden. Our toddler loved walking down the boardwalk every morning to check out the Loons on the lake, and he loved relaxing in the hammock. We had plenty of wood for the fireplace outside and took advantage of the dock for some stargazing.The cabin itself was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. All the basics were provided. The fireplace was perfect to turn on in the morning and evening when it was cool outside. The only thing that was a little unsatisfactory was the condition the mattresses, which were pretty uncomfortable in all of the bedrooms. Overall, I would say it was a lovely stay!
