Loved this property. Best part was seeing the deer and cows from the back porch each morning and afternoon. All the little added touches like snacks and toiletries made this a 5 star stay
Great place to stay. Quite neighborhood. Very clean house, comfortable bed and awsome couch and living room for relaxing. Host was very responsive on questions and great recommendations on things to do.
We enjoyed our stay!
We were impressed with how well property was stocked. Plenty of extra towels, useful items in bathrooms and yummy snacks. Pictures and descriptions were accurate. Beds were comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Wonderful property!!! Just close enough to go to downtown in like 2 minutes. Quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed the deer out back every morning. It is a beautiful home and very comfortable! We come down sometimes twice a year. We will definelty be booking this home if available. Randa, Joanne, Margie & Claudia.
We had an amazing stay! The living room was a perfect gathering spot with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. All the beds were incredibly cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The hot tub was a fantastic touch—so relaxing after a day of tasting! We also loved the thoughtful goodie basket, which was enjoyed by all. The location is ideal—close to downtown yet right on the edge of town, making it easy to visit the wineries. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and convenient getaway!
Such a clean, updated home well stocked with whatever you need and in a great location. Quiet street just minutes away from downtown. Check in was easy. We had a great time. Thank you so much for providing all the comforts of home.
We rented for my daughter’s bachelorette trip. We went wine tasting and walked the strip. We also booked our wine tour with Wine-Heimer Tours LLC on the Cheer Fun bus with JD and it was so fun. I will definitely book David Earl’s Shack again. Clean accommodating, hot tub was great, fire pit and very cozy.
I came for the 30th bday. First off the location was amazing, we were literally close to everything which made it so easy to navigate around. Joe was also amazing, quick with responses and worked with me very well when trying to book and my bank was cooperating at first. I would definitely book the exact place if I ever visit again! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!
When we booked our stay at David Earl’s Shack we joked about the name & what to expect, but this house IS NO shack!! It was our first time to visit the area and this home had everything we needed. It was super clean and well stocked with new kitchen items, plenty of towels and some additional amenities. Check in was easy & the owner reached out soon after our check in to make sure everything was to our liking. we enjoyed relaxing on the big back patio and watching a few deer feeding in the distance. Can’t say enough good things about this property- will definitely be back!
Hot tub, goats, cows, deer and a Whataburger in the back yard. The kids loved the goats coming up to the fence and saying hi. The deer were wandering by all the time as well. It gave the back yard a certain peace. The hot tub is very well maintained and relaxing. The interior of the house is great because the living and dining areas are open. We had a great time with our kids here. 13/10 would recommend this place. Very clean and very peaceful.
We are 4 friends from different cities/states and plan an annual trip. We were thoroughly impressed with this property. The amenities provided were what you find in a first-class hotel. The property was safe, clean and comfortable. There is a pasture adjacent to the backyard and "bessie the cow" stopped by each day to say good morning. In the evening we watched deer in the same pasture. We had no issues with the property. It is located very close to downtown and wineries along the 290 corridor.A great place to call home for a few days.
