Our stay at the cabin was very pleasant. The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and offers a beautiful lake view. The cabin is comfortable, clean, and well equipped, making it perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had an awesome time here. The view is awesome. My granddaughter graduated from High school and the family came down to celebrate. The rain tried to stop us but it didn't. We had a BBQ, FISH fry, and a Seafood boil. The place is well equipped to handle them all. The only thing I can say is bring your bug spray, clothes detergent, dish detergent, aluminum foil, and some spices. There is a Dollar General store about 9 miles away if you for get something.

Great cozy house on the river

Great place to relax, very quiet on the winter, perfect if you like canoeing or kayaking, needs some remodeling/repairs, but otherwise great to stay.

We had a wonderful family vacation! We had an easy check in and out process and communication was wonderful. We loved the docks and despite the rain most of the week, we shared lots of laughter and fun!

What a beautiful property! Thank you so much for sharing this space with us. Everything we needed was there and it was big space. My uncle brought his 46 foot RV and was able to park on property with electric which was so nice we could have the whole family in one location.

Our second time here and we will be back! This is the most absolutely wonderful place for relaxing, fishing and seeing wildlife. The last time we were thrilled with seeing manatees, this time was river otters and an eagle. Can't wait to get back!

Best Birthday little getaway ever

Stayed here for a birthday weekend with some friends and family and it was nothing short of perfect. Loved every second of it. This was actually my third time staying at this house and did not disappoint. Pool was a perfect addition and everything was so clean. Owner was so responsive and accommodating! Will definitely be going back again! Thank you so so much!

Mother’s Day Gathering

We arrived easily to the property and everything was very clean. The owners thought of everything and we had all the supplies we needed. The river was fabulous and the kids really enjoyed the swings and the pool. We had amazing weather and the owners were easily reachable and responded immediately to our questions. The room set up was great and allowed plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our trip. Will be back again next year for sure.

Family Vacation

The property was as described in the listing. We had a great time. The only down side is the distance to get to places to visit. It was a full hour to get to St Augustine and a little more than two hours to the Kennedy Space Center. There is a lot to do on the property but not much nearby if you want to sightsee.

Amazing summer vacation

A group of 14 friends and family stayed at this wonderful home near the end of June 2025 for three nights. It was one of the most memorable vacations any of us have ever had. The view of the river is incredible, the pool is well kept and refreshing; the house is spacious and homey. We had so much fun swimming in the pool, fishing and using the canoes on the river, and exploring the greater Ocala area nearby. We are definitely going to return and possibly make this an annual trip as long as the house is available. 5 stars all the way, the host was extremely kind and accommodating. Would recommend for anyone wanting to stay in this area for any type of vacation. Thank you!!

Enough room for all

The house was great for space but even though there was a list of updates the house needs work. Also a spider clean up could be done prior to each check in.

Nice property for large family wanting to relax.

Property was spacious. Kids liked the pool. Everyone loved fishing. We seen Manatees, caught a few sting rays, bass and catfish. We liked the fridge downstairs it made it convenient to keep drinks in while we were outside. The house had everything we needed. The only downside would be the internet is very slow.
