New to the rental market for 2024! This stunning 4BR+ lakefront retreat with sunrise views over Moose Pond at the base of Pleasant Ski Mountain sleeps 10! This well-appointed vacation house has everything you'll need to get away from it all.

In Summer, the private dock and sandy-bottomed shorefront are perfect for swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing or relaxing in a hammock. Moose Pond is a very clean lake and 7+ miles long with endless water to explore.

In Winter, you're only 500 meters from the ski lifts at Pleasant Mountain. Spend the day skiing and be home in a few minutes to relax by a fire. Or drive a little further and hit the slopes at Mt. Cranmore (~25 minutes) or Sunday River (~50 minutes).

The home is a great base for exploring a vibrant and beautiful area of Maine, New Hampshire and the White Mountains:

Shopping & Dining: Enjoy Bridgton's quaint downtown with shops, movie theater, brewery and restaurants just 10 minutes away. Drive 25 minutes to North Conway with all the shops and activities it has to explore (including Storyland).

Skiing: Pleasant Mountain right across the street for day and night skiing. Cranmore Mountain (25 minute drive) and Sunday River (45 minute drive) are nearby.

Theme parks: Storyland in Glen, NH (40 minute drive) and Cranmore Mountain Adventure Park (25 minute drive).

Hiking: Across the street on Mountain Road are two very popular hikes up Pleasant Mountain: The Ledges Trail (3.3 miles roundtrip) and Bald Peak Trail (4.6 miles roundtrip). The Pondicherry Park Trail (1.4 miles) in downtown Bridgton is an excellent family hike. There are hundreds of other nearby hikes in the lakes region and White Mountains.

Fishing: Moose Pond offers excellent fresh water fishing.

Saco River: Paddling down the Saco River is a great summer activity and many of the most popular canoe and kayak outfits are just 10 minutes from the house.

Fun Family February Vacation Week

Our stay at Rob & Patti’s House was truly amazing! We had 6 adults and 2kids that fit perfectly with plenty of room. The house was super clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable no stiff backs waking up in the morning. Pleasant Mountain is literally a rock throw away which was so convenient and North Conway was a quick 20min ride to enjoy tubing at Cranmore Mountain. We woke up to families ice fishing right on the lake also which my children very much enjoyed. I would highly recommend this house for cozy family time together, convenience, and FUN! We will be back! Thank you Rob & Patti for allowing us to rent your beautiful home.

Our family lives just north of Boston and we fell in love with the Bridgton lakes region by renting homes for summer trips with our kids. When we purchased this home on Moose Pond, we wanted to be able to share it with others as hosts and hope that it becomes a special location for you too.

Why they chose this property

This place is very special to us. Our family has loved this spot nestled between Pleasant Mountain and Moose Pond. We love paddling, swimming, boating and fishing in one of Maine’s cleanest lakes and being able to ski right across the street at Pleasant Mountain. We've enjoy exploring the surrounding area of Bridgton, North Conway and the trails of the White Mountains. We have so many great memories attached to this place.
