My overall experience was not the greatest, overpriced in my opinion for certain reasons like, shower was dirty, ice plunge tub was really dirty, air conditioning was not functioning well, beds sheets were noticeably not clean, cold showers with hardly any hot water running, doors would get jammed shut so we’d be stuck in the room. We messaged the host over our concerns to which we got no response. Not a place we would visit again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations.
During your stay, the only concern we received was that the doors were jamming. We inspected them immediately after checkout and were unable to replicate the issue, but we'll continue to monitor them to ensure they're functioning properly.
The other concerns mentioned in your review were not communicated during your stay, so we didn't have the opportunity to address them. Our tiny home is equipped with a compact water heater, which provides a shorter supply of hot water than a traditional home. The outdoor cold plunge is cleaned and maintained regularly, though as an outdoor amenity it can occasionally collect natural debris between cleanings. The mini-split air conditioning system is a newer unit and was found to be operating as designed after your stay. We also wash and replace all bed linens and thoroughly clean the shower before every guest's arrival.
During our post-stay inspection, we did find hair dye stains in the shower that were not present before your stay. While these required additional cleaning, we chose not to charge for the extra work.
We value honest feedback and encourage guests to let us know about any concerns during their stay so we have the opportunity to resolve them promptly.
Tiny Timber lives up to its name in square footage, but delivers big in cleanliness , coziness and comfort. We've been on the road for a couple of weeks now, so we totally enjoyed our relaxing downtime with walks around the hood with our doggo, Teddy, and we even caught a movie in not-too-far Baxter. The trains took a wee bit of getting used to, but after a couple went by, they just became background noise. The hosts were extremely attentive and responsive and checked in to make sure that we had all that we needed. We didn't get to take advantage of the sauna and tub or the fire pit this visit, but those definitely added to the charm and ambience of the place. Overall, a great stay!
Cabin is located in a beautiful area to explore. Cabin was very clean and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hot-tub was a plus. Thanks so much for hosting us.
The Tiny Timber was an excellent place for us to relax and overnight while we were spending the daytime at our son's cabin on Lake Alexander. For a tiny space it is well designed.
The cabin was small and cozy, which was just what we needed for a mother/daughter weekend away. We enjoyed the hot tub. We stayed in the winter, but I imagine the yard would be gorgeous in the fall.
Loved the property - cozy and everything we needed. Would've loved to get to the beach easier, struggled a bit with the shower and the sulfur of the drinking water (purifier was a plus)! Overall was great and we are grateful for the hospitality, the cabin was clean and well cared for.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Adorable property in a beautiful spot tucked away in the woods. It was just what we needed. The grill did not work due to a melted gas line, but we had everything we needed to cook inside the cabin. The sauna also did not work for us at first, but my husband was able to find the reset button and get it going. It was a clean, simple place to escape!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at Timber! It was very clean and cozy! We were able to relax in the hot tub and we had some cozy evenings indoors playing games. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with everything you could need. We appreciate you sharing Tiny Timber with us and we hope we can visit again soon!
The location for us was excellent, and we liked the size…for us it was perfect. It could use a few upgrades, the flooring laminate has started to peel and the pans were difficult to cook with as they were worn out. I honestly would stay here again and rate it a 5 star except…the water is well water and smells terrible (sulfur and iron). We could not drink it and did not wash our hair in it. We bought gallons of water from the gas station for washing dishes, brushing teeth, etc. A filter system should be invested in. I would have given this charming place a 5 star if the water would have been ok.
My wife and I made a quick getaway to enjoy the fall colors and some R&R. Communication with our host was great, the cabin was thoughtfully decorated and well supplied, and the rates were affordable and a good fit for us. We really enjoyed the hot tub, which was a unique feature and well-maintained. Our bed was comfy, it was easy to connect to the TV from our devices, and we got to enjoy the fire pit with some firewood provided. The cabin is near some other houses but it never felt like we were too close to anyone else or didn’t have the privacy and relaxation we signed up for. You can hear trains at night sometimes but we liked that. The only small interruptions to our stay were an oven element that apparently went out, so we only had use of the stovetop. That worked out fine! And they also had other appliances. It may have been the timing of our stay/season, but there were a LOT of ladybugs. Inside the cabin. And it seems the host knew about that, as there was a sonic repeller plugged into an outlet. The high frequency bothered me with my tendency toward migraines, and it was only partly effective. I think we captured 40-50 ladybugs crawling and flying around the cabin, despite the doors and windows always being closed. It didn’t ruin our stay or anything, and I think it was just the particular timing of the season, but we wished our host had communicated that to us ahead of time so we could be prepared. All in all, we had a really great stay and would recommend to others!!
An absolute gem! The cabin was immaculate, cozy, and located in the most beautiful setting. The hosts have thought of every little detail to make guests feel welcome. The communication with the host was seamless from start to finish. It was the perfect, relaxing getaway we needed. Five stars all around.
