About this property

Perfect for quiet family and friends, this beautiful 2006 completely remodeled home is located on the channel in Oxnard near Hollywood Beach. The private water deck has a sense of peace & relaxation. The dock is only a few steps away with Paddle Boards and Kayaks. The Ocean is a short, 10-minute walk away with beautiful white sandy beaches. There are: 4 mountain bikes, 2 men's and 2 women's; 4 kayaks, 1 a double and the others singles; and 2 paddleboards.

This beautiful house has all the comforts of home with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room w/fireplace and 55" Smart LCD TV, entertainment room w/40' Smart TV, bedrooms with 43" Smart TVs, and large waterfront deck with BBQ.

The Harbor is walking distance and is where you can get information on fishing, Channel Islands tours, scuba diving, and whale watching.

Nearby is some of the best shopping in California, only 15 miles South are the Camarillo Outlets, 10 miles North is Ventura Beach, and 38 miles North is Santa Barbara.

Some of the most beautiful Golf Courses are located in the area. Details upon request.

Well equipped and great hosts

This is a very well equipped property! Plenty of tools, utensils and dishes; supplies are not locked away and are easy to find if you need more TP or some rags or even an ice pack. Bikes and kayaks are great fun and there were a variety of appropriately sized helmets and PFDs for use with them. Washer and dryer are quick and work well. There are some updates in progress, but communication was great and we were warned in advance of them; when we had questions or the occasional issue hosts were super quick to respond and friendly. Some things are older but the house was clean and comfortable. The only things I would mention so that others are aware- if you are sensitive to scents, there are a lot of scented candles around, and you may not have a good cell signal here (but wifi signal is fantastic even with multiple devices running, so no worries once you get connected.) We would absolutely stay again, this is a fantastic find in a lovely area and very sweet and responsive hosts.

What a treat! This house is exactly as stated! We had a great stay! The house is fully stocked with necessities along with a few extra’s. We spent most of our stay @ the house, it was relaxing & beautiful with the comfy outdoors & firepit. The neighborhood is very quiet & peaceful. We will be booking a second stay!

Exceptional Stay

This home had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation with family. The location was perfect to explore the area, close to the beach and boat to the Channel Islands. Enjoyed using the kayaks and paddleboards on the inlet waters as well as the bicycles. The spa and outdoor deck and BBQ were enjoyed!

Why they chose this property

Short walking distance from the beach, restaurants, and stores. We don't do much driving at alll. 3 very good golf courses are within 10 minutes. This is a quiet neighborhood with beautiful houses.

What makes this property unique

This is a "house" house and not a beach house. All the rooms are large, we have all of the sports and activity equipment, and it is peaceful and quiet.
