Located in the lovely Mandalay Shores neighborhood in Oxnard, CA. What an ideal spot for vacationing. Take an excursion to the Channel Islands National Park; Main St shops in Ventura; visit Ojai or Santa Barbara nearby or just enjoy the beach a short walk away!
Wonderfully located in peaceful neighborhood. Enjoy 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 car garage, and a short walk to the beach! There are several bikes for guest use w/ helmets and bike lock. Large outdoor space with BBQ GAS grill and firepit. Wi-Fi, SMART TV w/ DVR, DVD Player, a ton of movies to enjoy!
The entire home is for guests use.... includes 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, Full kitchen/dining room, living room, laundry, 2 car garage, huge back deck, bikes for guest use, and more!
I am available 24/7.
Quiet and peaceful. People walking their dogs and jogging to the beach. It is quiet and friendly people. Gorgeous walk to the beach.
Car is recommended for staying here.
The home is cozy and has ALL you need to enjoy your stay. Washer and Dryer, toys, beach chairs and sand toys for kids! High Chair, pack and play, baby gates-Great for families!

No parties or events...Please be considerate of the neighbors and follow house rules. Use common sense and be respectful. We have a pack n play, high chair and some baby gates too.

Engagement

We had a very nice stay. Took a couple of day trips to go hiking and had a great comfy place to come back to each evening. We walked to the beach early one morning where our son proposed to his girlfriend!

Little piece of Heaven

We arrived to a warm and inviting home. While it was bigger than we expected as there were just two of us it had everything we needed for a relaxing and welcoming stay. Quiet neighborhood, and Close to the beach which is what we really wanted. Easy access and communication with owners. Highly recommend.

Restful getaway

Nice neighborhood and comfortable accommodations. Barbecue grill and fire pit need a little attention, but overall a nice time.

Great spot for a 5-6 pax staycation

The house is well-laid out and works well as a base for family dining, entertainment and sleeping. The beach is 100 meters away across a busy road, but it's a great sandy expanse and worth the short walk. Plenty of places to eat and shop within a 15-minute drive. There's not much going on in Oxnard, but the location is close to more scenic spots such as Ojai and Santa Barbara.

Summer Vacation

Loved the house and the location. The back yard was amazing. Couple of things that would have helped are more toilet paper and trash bags. My son fixed the screen door in the downstairs bedroom as the mesh was completely separated. He also fixed the outside water faucet that was leaking. We enjoyed the vacation and will be back.

Our family love's Oxnard's beaches! I grew up here and love running on the beach in the mornings with our dogs. I absolutely LOVE providing memorable experiences for others to enjoy this beautiful Channel Islands area.

Why they chose this property

Oxnard is an ideal location due to its close proximity to Los Angeles' attractions to the south and Santa Barbara's offerings to the north. There is something here for everyone! This is where I grew up, so it has a lot of family history and is very special to us as our 2nd home.

What makes this property unique

The Channel Islands offers uncrowded beaches galore! Visitors can dine at local fresh fish markets, explore antique stores, and shop at local farmers' markets. Santa Barbara is a scenic 25-mile drive north and Los Angeles is a 1-hour drive south.
