This place was amazing. The peace and quiet was just what we needed. The property was perfect inside and out. We hope to return soon. Don is an excellent host, he checked to see if we needed anything and was always a phone call away.

We had a great stay! The house was very clean, it had everything you need, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, lots of room for everyone. We really appreciated the air conditioning! Most of our time was spent right at the property, fishing, swimming, kayaking, grilling and enjoying the firepit. We will definitely return! My dog had so much fun!

What a gem!

Recently renovated, with a great attention to the details! Right on the quiet lake - perfect for swimming and kayaking. Our dog loved it, too. Lots of hiking opportunities hearby.We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a beautiful spot on this peaceful little lake. We were there in early October. It is a great base from which to explore Blue Mountain Lake on over to Saranac. The little hamlet of Indian Lake isn't much, but it has a fun, useful hardware store, a good restaurant with great staff, and, best of all, a free 4 port fast EV charging station at the Chamber of Commerce/ Visitors Center. The house is small, good for two people and probably a family with a couple of kids. But the bedrooms are really close together and share one very small bathroom, so there's not much privacy. I'd like to visit in the summer, when it's warm outside and we can spend more time on the two front porches, downstairs and upstairs off the bedroom. They beckoned...but it was cold when we were hanging out early in the morning and in the evening.

Wonderful place!

This place was perfect for our family to relax and enjoy a lake in the Adirondacks. The owner was friendly and helpful, and responsive when we had questions. The lake is quiet--no motorboats allowed--and several kayaks were available for use. We plan to go back again next summer. Thanks for a great visit.

It was a great weekend trip on the lake for our family. The check-in was easy and the place was very clean. The kayaks and canoe were fun and the family had a great time. I’ve never caught so many fish in a single weekend before.Donald checked in on us and made us feel welcome. Just a great stay allAround. Thank you!!

The property was immaculate and the location was idyllic. It is just so peaceful and serene. Don is extremely friendly and attentive. It is perfect for campfire, swimming and kayaking. The washer and dryer as well as the WiFi and other amenities make this home an overrall perfect place!!!!

Great location with a nice sandy beach for launching canoes and kayaks. Love that the lake does not allow power boats. Location also great for sunrises being on the west end of the lake. Nice set of lawn furniture and nice, big, stone rimmed fire ring with plenty of firewood supplied. One downside is the cabin is at the bottom of a short but quite steep hill making it very difficult for someone with mobility issues to go for a walk. Cabin itself is nicely appointed though I wish the wifi router signal was a little stronger so there was a decent, stable coverage down to the dock.
