Tranquil, remote, beautiful setting with immaculately clean home and outside spaces. The house was very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided for the kitchen and bathrooms, and there was a very generous supply of games, puzzles and reading material. The outside tree house and pond were nice places to just sit away from the house, and the trails were fun to explore. Even outdoor games were provided. The fire pit and pizza oven provided our entertainment in the evenings. The host communication was exceptional! Everyone in our group agreed this is a wonderful getaway and are looking forward to staying here again!

Everything was amazing! The hosts were welcoming and the whole house was very clean and comfortable. The house has everything a guest may need! Comfortable beds, cozy living room, well-stocked kitchen, pre-cut wood for the fire pit and kitchen oven, and a peaceful oasis of nature surrounding the house.

A beautiful retreat. Great hosts, great location, stunning views with wildlife all around you and the treehouse was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be going back.

Little Piece of Heaven

The property was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend. The house and outside area were very well stocked with supplies, fire wood, and activities. We enjoyed trying out the outdoor pizza oven and walking the property.

The Valley View Cottage was absolutely amazing! Don’t hesitate to book. They have everything you need and more! The property is gorgeous. We spent the entire weekend on the patio and around the fire pit. You will not be disappointed! The tree house was so fun to explore. The pond was beautiful in the early morning as the sun rose. You will be greeted by local wildlife each morning. Perfect weekend getaway!

Beautiful quiet and peaceful getaway

Overall a great experience. Took the kids fishing on the pond, hikes on the trails and watched the sunrise while the deer played in the field. Very much enjoyed the proximity to Mohican for local attractions but far enough away to be secluded.

Was a great stay! Had everything we needed and then some! Was so nice they provided wood for fire pit and pizza oven! And even left us a great pie and stuff for smores! House was very clean and beautiful site!

Outstanding hosts and rental!

Valley View exceeded our expectations! The view was incredible, the pizza oven was fun to use, and the house was exceptional. We had a great time and highly recommend Valley View cottage! Oh, and the fresh donuts were a hit!

Great Stay

We were 3 couples that get together every year for a weekend getaway. We loved our stay. The owners are great communicators and take beautiful care of their property. If anything, we feel their own description of the property is too modest. It's wonderful for a getaway to have some fun and laughs. Close to Mohican for some great hiking. Highly recommend a weekend stay.

Weekend getaway with friends

Perfect location, isolate and beautiful. Kitchen was fully stocked. Lots to do, indoor and relaxing games provided, books, grill, pizza oven, fire pit, and fishing pond. The owners were very accommodating and communicated with us at check in and checkout, making sure we had everything we needed
