The Chalet was a great location to base my hiking trip. Loved that I could sit and hear the river below but also get a pizza or gas easily in Wilmington. Cabin was clean and just as advertised and had everything i needed for a great stay. Johnathon was very helpful when needed and I had a great stay. Would definitely come again!
The cabin was very clean and had everything you could need. The location is perfect, it feels isolated yet it’s close to prime hiking trails and close to lake placid. This was our second time staying here and will definitely be back again.

So glad you came back a second time and again enjoyed your stay! Hopefully there were a couple minor improvements you noticed around the home between your two stays! Take care and see you again!
Great place to stay. Cabin is clean with great attention to detail. Close to town with a country appeal. Would stay there again. Cabin was everything we hoped and more.
A truly perfect log cabin stay awaits. All aspects of this VRBO experience were perfect. Highly recommend this home.

You were so lucky with such beautiful warm fall weather, glad to hear you had a nice weekend! Safe travels! And thank you for staying at this home!
Cozy log home in a nice location convenient to Whiteface and hiking trails! We enjoyed walking down to the river along the property staircase to see the nice view. We would love to stay here again!
Decor, ambience and view were high level. Neatness and cleanliness of the property were superb. Would love to have the opportunity to go back there again.
Great location, beautiful log home, my wife and I had a wonderful stay. On the water, near Whiteface, close to town, and very private, a great feeling on both of the back decks looking at the mountains. Immediate response from owner when contacted, can't wait to go back.
We really enjoyed our stay in this pristine cabin with the amazing view! Super clean and stocked home. Would definitely return if ever in the area again!

Cabin was wonderful. Could not have asked for more.
Great week. Cabin is beautiful and very clean. Wonderful location. It is hard to believe that being so close to things, the only sounds you hear are the river.

Nicely worded, about the house being close to everything but peaceful overlooking the river! Glad you had a nice stay, and welcome back anytime!
Cabin design reminded me of a family cabin from 60 years ago. Many rustic interior design elements that added to the feel. Great location for fishing, golfing, hiking and relaxing. Owner was very responsive. Great spot for fly fishing. Would like to return.
Definitely a home built with pride of place...the style, the quality, the location all reflect the beauty of the High Peaks. We spent the entire week within a ten-mile radius, including one day at "home". Very special!

Beautiful
Our stay at Johnathan's home was everything and more we could have wished for. The property is unique and impeccably cared for. Johnathan provided some great tips for activities in the surrounding area, and the time passed much too quickly. We would like to return, and can recommend the property without reservation!

Fantastic house, amazing location
We have vacationed in the high peaks region many times over the past five years and this was by far the best. The house is as beautiful as it is in the pictures but the location is even better. The views of the mountains and the sounds of the river really make this a unique vacation spot. Also, the owner is very helpful and responsive. Thanks, Johnathan.

I'm so happy to hear your most recent trip up to the Adirondacks was great, and thank you for the compliment that your stay at my house ranks amongst the best of your Adirondacks stays! Wonderful to hear that! I'm really blessed to have this property and have wonderful people that take care of it, both renters and housekeepers! Have a great year, and hope to see you in the Adirondacks again someday! Sincerely,
Johnathan Esper, owner
We rented this property multiple times so far and each time we get to know and love it even more. The views and overall atmosphere keep us coming back but overall the experience is always amazing. The cleanliness is something to make note of as well, the cleaning staff do a great job because each time we have rented this location it was obvious that they put a lot of time in to making the place feel clean and comfortable. Always a very high recommendation.
Perfect home in a perfect location! We enjoyed sitting by the river as well as exploring it! All meals were enjoyed on the patio! Loved our morning coffee on the balcony! Great views! Beautiful home! So ADK! Hope to return! Johnathan was very attentive!
This house and our stay was fantastic. We came and stayed for our wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The house is nicely
Decorated and tucked back in the trees on a beautiful property. After our wedding we enjoyed taking our own pictures at the end of the day down by the water and up on the balcony with gorgeous views. 10/10 everything was great and we highly recommend!
