This little house is a hidden gem! We loved staying in this historic home! The furnishings are charming, comfortable, and in keeping with the history of the house. So many rental homes are outfitted with generic furnishings. Not this one! The updated kitchen design is wonderful-all the ease of a modern workspace while still honoring the traditions of an old house. Other reviews mentioned how easy it is to walk to main street. We, too, enjoyed walking to shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed walking to the city park. As well, Stevensville is in the middle of the valley giving us easy access to anything we wanted to do. We were delighted to discover at Ft Owens and the Mission how Stevensville is connected to Montana history. The house is tucked away behind a tall hedge providing a good bit of privacy. One morning I was reading on the big front porch and was delighted to watch family of quail file across the front yard. We stayed here four nights on a slow drive from the Northwest to Illinois. Rosalee's Stevensville house is one of the big highlights of our trip.

December First Friday and Holiday Celebration

This is such a charming home. It's historic style is so welcoming and the house lends itself beautifully to family gatherings. The beds are super comfortable, and all of Stevi's fun shops and good restaurants are literally out the front door.

A treasure of a house that helped us to create many lasting memories! Rosalee was easy to work with and the house was clean and well appointed — the house easily became a home for our 5-week stay. . We were entertaining our 4 yo grandchild most days and we made use of the big yard and plum trees. The central location meant we could walk and ride our bikes to the park and to the nearby shops. Stevi’s weekly farmer’s market is right across the street. The close proximity of the wildlife refuge and the river made for great outings. I’m sure we’ll be back!

We had an issue with the front door lock—very difficult to lock and unlock. A frustrating way to start and end a day.
