It’s our second time staying at this property. The lakefront home is beautiful, we especially love the screened in porch. The home is very well appointed with everything we needed. The host is very accommodating and quick to respond. Our family has booked again for next summer.

The house is amazing along with the location on the lake! They provide everything you could possibly want including toilet paper, paper towels, and even little toiletries if you forgot them. They truly think of everything and spoil you! Highly recommend the property and hosts!

This is my third visit to this lovely property. My husband and I invited a friend group to join us for this getaway. Everyone loved the views, especially from the screened in porch that runs the length of the house. We had everything we needed to cook our meals. We also enjoyed the boat house and dock. Several members of our group had luck fishing off the dock for bass. We enjoyed a fish fry utilizing the large electric griddle from the pantry. I’m looking forward to another visit next summer.

Our 3 generation family had a great time together on the direct lake front for swimming, boating, lounging and fishing in the well equipped boathouse, kitchen and lakehouse. The hosts were responsive and the house was clean. We enjoyed the large screened in porch and the fireplace area. The approach to the water is gently sloped which is a plus. The linens, towels and beach towels being provided by the host is a must for our family who flew and drove from far away places to be together. This was our second time renting this property.

Great house and location

Perfect floor plan for our family. We really enjoyed the screened in deck and the dock. It is the best equipped house we have ever stayed at, Roy and Sandra thought of everything!

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house! The home was very clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and included linens, beach and bath towels was so nice! We had plenty of space for our group of 15. The dock was great with the step ladder and bench. It accommodated all three of our full size boats (18, 24 & 24’) and a 10’ Jon boat during our stay. Kids loved the hammocks and toys. I only wish I had found the zero gravity chaise lounge chairs before day 6! P.S. They’re in the shed off the back patio. That’s the one thing I was missing all week for my sunbathing endeavor. The owners were great to work with. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it for a large family or group!

Everything we needed!

Our family had a great week! The house and the waterfront had everything we needed for a fabulous stay. We swam and boated and played all week, and had everything we could have asked for, which was a big help. The communication with the host was very good. It was a great week and we would stay here again.

Our family loved the house. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch with its lovely view of the lake and sunset. We also appreciated having both an inside and outside dining table. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The house is modern and impeccably clean.

Wonderful vacation home for families!

This home exceeded our expectations. From start to finish the process and communication was top notch, easy, and the hosts are so accommodating! The house is fully stocked with everything you will ever need - we had three families and the space and amenities were perfect. Highly recommend!

Family Vacay

There were 8 adults and 8 children in this wonderful new home. We spent the week enjoying the lake, sun, great food, games and especially being together. It was great to meet the owners who were premium hosts. Thanks for some great memories.

Amazing Home - Great for Families!

This was our first stay at this home and it did not disappoint! Beautifully appointed and perfect for large groups / families! The gentle slope of the lot worked well for our parents (79 and 84), and the kids of all ages loved the games inside and outside the home. The dock was great for sunning, floating and tying up our boat. The boat traffic was a little heavy on Sunday but throughout the week it was much quieter and great for tubing and fishing!! Highly recommend!!

One of the most beautiful lake front property. Perfect for family fun on the lake!

Our family reunion of 18 (ranging from young kids and teens, to young adults and grandparents) had an amazing week-long stay at this lake house. The house was spotless and well-equipped, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time together. We spent our days enjoying the lake from the dock, making good use of the provided rafts and kayaks. Sunsets by the fire pit were magical and picture perfect. The owner was fantastic - very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this lake house for a memorable family vacation, and would love to return someday!

They've Thought of Everything!

The Haga home is absolutely beautiful! We've stayed in many rental homes and this one had everything you could possibly need. From the dishes to the supplies to the throw blankets. They did not miss a beat! There is everything you need for a lake - floaties, kayaks etc. The house is comfortable and the sunsets are a wonderful treat! Perfect spot - just sit on the deck and the sunset comes to you! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Perfect Home for a Family Gathering

We had a fantastic stay here with family for a week in early July. The house was perfect for large groups with plenty of space. We loved the large screened in porch where we ate most meals and played board games at night. The quality of the home and the furnishings is top notch, and had every amenity we needed. There were plenty of options included to keep everyone of all ages entertained. Boating on the lake was lots of fun, with plenty of areas to explore. The boat ramp was a short boat trip away, and the property has plenty of plenty of space for parking multiple cars and a boat trailer. Sandra and Roy were quick to respond to any questions we had, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We were sad to leave, and would absolutely return for another visit.

Blue Heron

This was a great house. Everything in the house was very modern, the house was clean and everything that we needed in the kitchen was provided. The pictures of the screened in back porch don't do this justices. The screened in back porch has an area to lounge and a table for the family to eat. This is where we spent most of the time that we were not on the water. It has a great view of the lake. The boat house has everything you need to enjoy the water. Life jackets, floats, skies, Knee board. You name it they have it in the boat house. We have rented lake house on Gaston for the last 6 years and this house ranked the highest among our group.

Perfect family vacation home

Our multigenerational family has been coming together each summer for over 10 years at Lake Gaston. We have stayed in some wonderful homes, but our entire family agreed, this was by far the best and we will absolutely be coming back. The layout of this home was prefect for our family size - upstairs for the older generations and downstairs a great fit for our young family groups. The amount of provided amenities was over and above. We never even had to unpack our own lake towels or floats, so many were provided. The kayaks and paddleboat were used daily. The water off the dock was perfect for swimming and the zero entry option was great for the toddlers in the group. The lovely yard, the fire pit, games, blankets, kitchen setup, I could go on and on. And that porch! Heaven. The owners even left us a lovely welcome basket of snacks and gift card from a local bakery (yummy!) Communication was so easy and check-in and out a breeze. Highly recommend this home and we cannot wait to book again soon!
