We were in town to visit my dad, who lives in Twisp. We had a wonderful time visiting at the cabin and playing games. The house was nicely kept and we found everything we needed! We all slept well and the peace and quiet was just what I was looking for! Coffee on the deck in the morning was a beautiful start to the day! Thank you so much for the memories!
We completely enjoyed our stay! The neighborhood is quiet, close to ski trails and the home was perfect for 4 adults. Tony was a great host and we would definitely come back again.
Great house, exactly as pictured in a nice community. Well stocked kitchen (should switch out the kitchen rug as it is very worn). Would stay here again. Thank you!
lovely house. enjoyed fireplace and yard. very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms… fluffy towels. kitchen knives needed sharpening and a big salad serving bowl would be appreciated. otherwise excellent weekend stay.
Beautiful and quiet property. Newer build. Place was very clean and had several extras. Beds were comfortable. 30 min drive to several large trailheads in the cascades along highway 20. We definitely would recommend to our friends and family who visit the area in the future!
The cabin looks just as shown in the photos. It's very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The little community of homes is quiet, and the homes are well spaced -- not too close to each other. This was the second time my wife and I have stayed at Alpine Woods, and we look forward to returning.
We have, over the years, stayed in many VRBO properties. This cabin in Mazama was one of the cleanest we have seen. Much appreciated by us. Although we didn't do much cooking, all the pots/pans, knives, etc., were available. I have one suggestion: to have a king-sized bed in the master bedroom.
The property was very nice and well equipped. It could’ve had some additional cooking spices that would be basics. The major problem we had was with mosquitoes when we tried to sit outside. Overall a great experience.
Darling cabin located deep in the woods. Surrounded by forest trees. Quiet and serene.
Easy check in and out. Clean and very comfortable.
Very well equipped and well stocked kitchen. Plenty of space for your things. Plenty of HOT water and great water pressure. Very close to hiking and a very short drive into Winthrop for groceries. Great Wifi connection and just loved the stone fireplace. Highly recommend Alpine Woods for a great adventure in the Cascades.
The property was very clean and comfortable. Very quiet and located close to Mazama, Winthrop, and Twisp. The yard area was nice as well. I would recommend staying here to others.
The WiFi was a bit spotty and only worked the 1st day. There was construction in the area,so maybe that was the cause. I would recommed buying a few more pans but otherwise the kitchen was stocked well.
Really comfortable cabin for two couples. The A/C in the bedrooms worked well, but noisy. The living area got pretty warm when it was 100 degrees outside. Nice deck for sitting outside.
Our stay was great. The only negatives were: pillows too large and hard and the toaster oven didn't toast. Except for these, the place couldn't have been better.
Lovely cabin in a wooded neighborhood. It felt very private with plenty of space between homes. We enjoyed sitting outside in the back and on the front porch. It was our home base for visiting North Cascades NP. It’s near a town with groceries and restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils/pans. We found everything we needed.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It is very comfortable and conveniently located for a lot of activities. The neighborhood was perfect for early morning and evening walks.
Spent the weekend biking and eating with family. Space was great! Good location, clean, and dialed for our group. We appreciate you sharing the property with us!
We have stayed here a few times. This is the first time in the Spring. Community is very quiet and hiking trails were empty. We enjoy the winter months and the energy of ski season. House is great and in great location.
Great property, clean/comfortable. Perfect access for skiing. The host is very responsive/helpful. One suggestion: A good suppply of kitchen cookware but the knives need to be sharpened.
We had a lovely stay, and great to see the new methiw valley ski trail groomed. Would recommend an additional large pot,and a garlic press for the kitchen, and some kleenex for the house.
