We have rented many homes between Christmas and New Year with our family and this place is one of our favorites. The location was great for walks and snowshoeing. The home had great sleeping arrangements for all. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of bathrooms. The host went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Communication was excellent and the host responded quickly to any of our inquiries. We would definitely come back again

Beautiful cabin with a great host!

We had a phenomenal long winter weekend at this incredible place! The cabin itself is beautiful, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed for cooking meals for 12, the beds were comfy, and there was plenty of room for kids to play and adults to relax. There is also an amazing screen porch overlooking the lake, though we didn't get to enjoy it since it was Feburary.John (the host) was super helpful, friendly, and responsive--probably the best host I've ever encountered at the many, many VRBOs we've stayed at over the years. He shared lots of helpful info in response and was quick to respond when a question came up during our stay. We had fun skiing various Birkie weekend races, skiing on the Hospital Trails in Hayward, and walking on the lake ice. The Totogatic Ski Trails in Minong are also really close, though we didn't have time to ski them this time. We'll definitely be back!
