Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected AC issue during your stay, especially during your birthday celebration. We would like to provide some additional context. Although check-in is at 4:00 PM, we gladly accommodated an early check-in at 1:00 PM at no extra charge. We also coordinated the flowers and balloons requested for the birthday celebration so they would be ready upon arrival. The apartment was clean before check-in. When you called about the water, I immediately asked that the AC units be turned off to stop the leaking and informed you I would contact the refrigeration technician right away. The technician arrived that same Saturday afternoon and confirmed the AC pump had failed unexpectedly. While 2 of the 4 AC units could not be used until the pump replacement was completed on Tuesday, the apartment still had 2 working AC units and 3 ceiling fans available. We understand the frustration caused by the situation, but we feel the 1-star review does not fully reflect the efforts made to accommodate your stay and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Hi Maddie! I know you had a wonderful time in our apartment. The mattresses on all the beds meet hospitality and hotel recommendations and guidelines. We're sure you don't need an additional air conditioning remote in your home. We charge an extra fee to replace the one we leave available for you and can't find when you check out. I trust our guests will take care of the apartment as if it were their own.

Thank you for choosing our apartment for your stay and leaving it in order. You made a reservation for 3 adults and 5 adults arrived. We made the necessary arrangements so that you had towels for the 2 additional people after making your payment for the extra guests. In the apartment there is an espresso machine and a Greca available for our guests. The dishwasher and hair dryer are not offered with amenities in our listing because they are not available. A bunk bed or two twin beds are offered because a trundle bed is not an option on the Vrbo platform. Unfortunately, they found some dirt on the floor because a plumber went to do maintenance on the bathroom's heating and apparently he dirty the floor. The fob is used to open the condominium doors, but there are always security guards at the gates to access the condominium and the beach. I trust that despite these situations you had a spectacular time on vacation in Puerto Rico.
