Perfect Family Getaway!

My family absolutely loved this listing. The thought put into the toys for the kids and the availability of beds and layout was just perfect. And the place is gorgeous and so clean!

Great room place to work and play

Huge house with lake views, close to groceries in a very quiet neighborhood. Host was great and very responsive getting us checked in and settled.

Indy 500 Trip

Five buddies got together for the weekend to go to the Indy 500. Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. A little pricey, but that’s what we expected for the Indy 500 weekend.

We expected a much higher quality home for the price. There were stains on the couch, the refrigerator had mold, three patio chairs were torn, two kitchen stools were missing support cross beams. There were other issues and I have pictures if someone asks to see them. The house just looked like it wasn’t being maintained. I will give the homeowner contact high marks for being very responsive in acknowledging and addressing issues timely (ie. the A/C wasn’t working).

John stayed at the Spacious Family Memory Maker W/ Water views 2 Miles to Marina for a graduation weekend which is a 6 bedroom, 5500 square foot house in Fishers across the street from Geist Reservoir with a trampoline and basketball court. He decorated the stairway of the house with balloons for graduation. John did not report any issue during his stay, and only requested the air conditioning unit be checked and we immediately sent out a professional technician from Control Tech Heating and Air Conditioning who fixed the minor issue at the beginning of John’s groups reservation. The refrigerator is new and has a small mark inside on the glass which can’t be cleaned off, and does not have mold. The chairs outside that had a tear have been removed, and replaced. Thank you for staying John! Welcome back anytime!

Great Location for our Family getaway

This corner of Indy is close to a lot. The Geist waterpark access is literally across the street. Terrific playground, beach with lifeguards. We spent a full day at the Children's museum - an amazing place for all ages. The house had so many beds that we had options to decide where everyone would sleep (6 adults, 4 kids under age 6). We did find one bedroom on the 2nd floor to be absolutely unbearably hot. We couldn't find any vents in the room. The only portable fan provided was broken. The availability of cribs, and a highchair, was awesome. Yes, the master bedroom has a king, a queen and two twins. It's an interesting layout. Having multiple bathrooms for 3 families was awesome too.The kitchen has dated and mismatched dishware and cooking ware but we managed. We found the oven to not heat accurately for items we were baking or cooking, not sure if the temp is accurate? The grill in back was dirty but worked well. The best part of the house for our crew? The room FULL of toys. The kids had endless fun exploring what was in there and the pop a shot in the basement gave inspiration to the 6 year old to try out basketball when home. Thank you!

I had issues with this rental since the beginning of the booking. Though the price per night was negotiated and rate was reduced tremendously, my card was charge twice after booking. I had to contact host to resolve. Fast forward to stay, area and neighborhood was nice but the home was not. There were stains on the couch and carpet and some bedsheets were clearly not washed before the stay. The garage was full of toys, furniture, and totes with clothes so it was unavailable to use for parking. There was food in the pantry, items in some of the closets, and a kitchen cabinet was held on by tape.The host accused my party of damaging carpet and towels during this stay and charged us 1500 for these “damages.” The situation has been escalated to VRBO without resolve. I would not recommend a staying here or negotiating your rental rate appears that they will tack on damage charges to recover the entire amount. I would have preferred they not had accepted the negotiated price and there would not have been any surprise costs.
