About this property

Vail Ski-Town Townhome, Free Bus to the Mountain, Hot Tub Year-Round

Vail Mountain is the reason most guests book Skivana — 5,000 skiable acres just four miles away, with a free town bus stop within walking distance so a car isn't required to get there. Winter is when this East Vail townhome earns its keep, though summer has a following of its own: the Pitkin Creek trailhead is right outside the door, no shuttle or drive needed, on the way to two waterfalls and an alpine lake.

Come in from a powder day and sink into the living room's wood-burning fireplace glow while the smart TV queues up tonight's movie. The private hot tub is just off the back deck and runs year-round, included at no extra charge — a soak whenever you want one (the back deck itself is more private than scenic; it doesn't face the view). For that, step onto the front deck instead, where the private gas grill looks straight out at the Gore Range — the pick for a mountain-view barbecue.

The kitchen is stocked for real cooking, not just reheating — ample counter space, a full range of appliances, and everything you need for a home-cooked meal after a long day on the trails or the slopes. Dual water heaters and in-floor heating through the kitchen, entryway, and primary suite keep the place comfortable no matter the season.

Skivana is spread across four levels. The garage and one bedroom (queen bed) are at entry level. One flight up is the main living space — living room, kitchen, dining area, a full bathroom, and both decks. Another flight up holds the primary suite (king bed, ensuite bath, sitting area, in-floor heat) plus two more bedrooms sharing a second full bathroom. A spiral staircase from there leads to a furnished loft with extra sleeping space. Five beds (1 king, 4 queen) sleep the group comfortably across four bedrooms plus the loft.

Walk to the free East Vail bus for a shuttle-free ride into Vail Village, or start the legendary Vail Pass climb right from the front door if you're here to ride. Beaver Creek's quieter slopes and Nordic trails are 16 miles west. This is East Vail living — close enough to everything, private enough to actually unwind.

Adventure Seekers Vacation Homes manages Skivana with the same standard we hold every property to: spotless before you arrive, well-maintained while you're here, and easy to reach if you need anything. We chose this location — walking distance to the free bus into the Village and to a trailhead — because it's the kind of setup that makes a mountain trip feel effortless, and we keep the home stocked and maintained to match.

Why they chose this property

Most East Vail rentals ask you to choose between ski access and comfort. Skivana gives you both: a free town-bus stop for the mountain, a trailhead at the door, and a townhome with a real fireplace, a year-round private hot tub, and enough space (4BR + loft) for a family reunion, a ski trip with friends, or a multi-generational week in the mountains.

What makes this property unique

Our team is genuinely easy to reach — text or call with any question before or during your stay. Every guest gets a detailed digital guidebook ahead of arrival covering the home and a curated list of local favorites, from where to grab an après-ski beer to the quietest hiking trailheads. Whether you're up for a ski week, a summer hiking trip, or a family reunion, we're set up to make it easy.
