Amber is an excellent host, and was super upfront about the lack of cell service and the measures you’d need to take to get to the property safely! 10/10 recommend having the navigation pulled up long before you arrive to avoid any issues. This property and cabin was so clean, cozy, and definitely well loved by all!

This little cabin is awesome! It has everything and everything works great. Wifi was excellent, hot tub and view were amazing and its so comfortable. Amber is a great host super responsive and helpful.

This cabin was thoughtfully stocked with everything one could need, including exotic pils and spices in the kitchen. It was cozy, warm, clean, and picturesque. The most well thought out rebtal house I have stayed in. I didn’t want to leave.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at this secluded cabin in Black Hawk was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had found the perfect mountain escape. Nestled among the trees, the cabin offered the peace, privacy, and beautiful scenery we were hoping for. Waking up to the fresh mountain air, sipping coffee on the deck, and enjoying the quiet surroundings made it easy to relax and disconnect from the busy pace of everyday life. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it had everything we needed to feel right at home. It was clear that a great deal of care has gone into creating such a welcoming space. The best part of our stay was Amber. She is an incredible host—kind, welcoming, responsive, and genuinely caring. From the time we booked until we checked out, she made sure we had everything we needed and was always happy to answer questions or offer local recommendations. Her hospitality truly made our experience even more special. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature without being too far from everything Black Hawk has to offer, this cabin is the perfect choice. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already talking about our next visit. Thank you, Amber, for sharing such a beautiful place and making our stay so memorable. We can’t recommend this cabin enough!

A special treat

This property has everything you could need for a getaway with Ideal sunsets and sunrises. A well appointed kitchen, furnishings, and a perfectly situated hot tub round out the experience. The host is incredibly communicative and wants to make it work for everybody. We will go back.

Couldn’t love this place more

My husband and I spent a weekend here as a quick getaway. The cabin is absolutely perfect. It’s so cozy and has everything you need. There were so many details that made it fantastic- coffee, robes, plenty of towels, etc. We loved relaxing in the hot tub with beautiful Mountain views. We found a beautiful hike a short drive away and there’s a cute town fairly close that has a market and brewery. I really appreciated Amber’s communication- she went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!!

The information on the VRBO website was accurate and up to date. The location was serine but not isolated. A very nice getaway location with amazing views of the several mountain peaks.Do not use information for older reviews as updates have occurred.
