Dancing Volcano Estate - sleeps 8 Near Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Dancing Volcano Estate in Volcano, Hawaii is a fantastic place to stay and visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park just a few minutes drive from our property. Our main house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, large dining area, large living area with SMART TV, Free WiFi, and a large covered lanai (patio) and sleeps 6. The guest cottage, which you are also renting, sleeps 2 in the adorable Studio, Dancing Bamboo. The house and cottage are fairly close in proximity but have no shared space other than the parking area.

Main House: The luxurious living room is perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing with an L-shaped leather sofa, TV, games and books. The kitchen has everything you could need to prepare those scrumptious island meals. The stunning outdoor lanai is one of the highlights of the home, featuring a formal dining area and lounge chairs for relaxing in the shade while enjoying the peace and quiet this area offers.

Our main bedroom features a King sized bed, walk-in closet, and full ensuite bathroom with walk-in tiled shower. There are 2 more exquisite guest bedrooms; one bedroom has 2 twin beds, and the other has a queen. These two bedrooms are on the opposite side of the living area from the main bedroom for privacy and the use of the second full bathroom. The second bathroom has a full sized washer and dryer for your use.

We provide beautiful bedding, extra blankets and there are heaters in each room. It can get quite chilly at 3500' elevation!

Studio Cottage: the quaint Bamboo Cottage sits a few steps from the main house and boasts a king sized bed, small TV, and WiFi for streaming. The cottage kitchenette has a microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker and toaster. The large bathroom features a walk-in shower. There are two comfortable seats plus a small table and two additional chairs in this 400 square foot cottage. There is even a covered lanai with two chairs looking out over the bamboo forest - enjoy!

We had a group of eight for three nights and it was a great stay. The house is very comfortable with plenty of space. The setting is very peaceful and everyone loved spending time at the house. The location is great, just a few minutes from Hawaii Volcanos National Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the outside guest cottage

We enjoyed our time at this house. My husband and I stayed in the guest cottage while the rest of the family stayed in the main house. It was nice to be away from everyone. The road getting to the house was much more rough than expected.

Beautiful house! The layout was fantastic for our extended family to stay while visiting my parents. It felt like an oasis at the end of the day. Loved the decor, especially having been to Japan previously. Highly recommended!

Rainforest

My husband and I honeymooned on the Big Island in 2000 and we decided to come back for our 25th anniversary. We brought our 3 kids and my parents along as well. This property was perfect for our party of 7. The little cottage was a great retreat for me and my husband. My parents enjoyed the main master suite. My girls shared the twin beds and my son had his own room. Plenty of space for all of us. Kitchen rather well equipped. Thankful for the washer dryer and extra beach towels. We booked this property before the volcano started erupting. Sadly it decided to blow as we were headed back to the airport to leave! Driving up and down the mountain was a little more driving than we expected as we explored the island. But the rainforest was definitely a different experience. Nice and cool. Different sounds. Amazing foliage. If you’re looking for a non-coastal place to stay, this is it.
