My family (including 1 child and 1 dog) really enjoyed our stay here. Really nice, quiet, relaxing house with a large backyard. From the Norwegian style details, to overall cabin feel, board games, fireplace, you can tell that a lot of thought was placed into the design and decor. Also, location was nice as it was an easy drive to Mount Laguna, and we were able to visit Rancho Cuyamaca and Julian.
Showed up and was offered fresh eggs from the chicken coop. Thank you! Wasn't bothered by their friendly dog. In fact that was one of things I loved about the place. Very friendly hosts but also respectful of your space. Very relaxed stay. Would love to visit again!
They were truly the nicest Vrbo experience we've ever had. They must have sympathsized with airport travel. We got to Norwegian Wood, the lights were on, key was readily available and music playing. So welcoming. All questions answered efficiently. Place was so cute and cozy. Roosters crowing every morning. Great experience!!
This was a beautiful place to stay! I really loved the conversation pit and fire place inside, and my puppy loved the big backyard. It’s a short drive to explore the beautiful Cleveland National Forest and overall, I had a great time.
We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful getaway home and property. The host was fantastic, and it was our first time using VRBO. Overall, it was a great experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Our family stayed for the weekend and had an amazing time. Dog friendly, clean and had a lot of little details that made our stay enjoyable. We can’t wait to return.
Comfortable Mid-century modern home in rural setting. Large fenced yard with trees all around. Comfy bed; unique indoor fireplace. Loved relaxing on the patio in the afternoons. We hiked Mount Laguna, and the Pine Creek trail. We had sub sandwiches at the Pine Valley market and deli, and Veggie burgers at Frosty Burger (also best malt ever). Very quiet. (Although a wild turkey and and a rooster were seemingly calling to each other one morning, it just served to enhanced the country feel.)
All beautiful and relaxing environment. This is ideal to disconnect from the daily routine. My dogs were happy here too. The property management is responsive and nice. I’ll be coming back again for sure.
We were staying to be close to a wedding at Mt Laguna. The home was in a good location and so peaceful. The AC was wonderful after being out in the heat all day.
