Just renovated guest quarters in a modern home in the exclusive Montecito section of Santa Barbara. Private entrance. Easy street parking.

Over 400 square feet. Steam room shower, mini-refrigerator, microwave, queen bed / real mattress, 65' Samsung flat screen TV and Blu-Ray DVD player.

Free wireless internet.

Private patio area.

Guests must descend a dozen stairs to enter.

No air conditioning. Nor is there in the main house where we live. Rare in Santa Barbara houses due to its coastal location. This was never an issue for years but last few summers have had some record-breaking heat. We provide a powerful Dyson tower fan and an auxiliary fan which will make room comfortable if there is a “heatwave”. This is a rare rare occurrence.

House features views of Montecito Peak and is in a remote tranquil canyon.

The Pacific Ocean (beautiful Butterfly Beach) - 3 miles.

Closest restaurants / ATM / food market / pharmacy (Coast Village Road or the local's Upper Village) - both 2.5 miles

Downtown Santa Barbara (shopping, movies, museums, dozens of restaurants) - 3 miles.

Santa Barbara Mission - 4 miles.

It is so quiet! I haven’t slept that well in a long time. Lisa was very hospitable and prompt with communication. The bed is comfortable and the steam shower was so relaxing. The surrounding area is green and lush. I had some lovely walks! It was a convenient place to stay while visiting my son at Westmont. Thank you!

Detailed and throughout with any updates and/or important info StudioLOVE LOVE the steam activated shower, high ceiling and open natural light. There is wide ample room and tons of storage space plus dishes, water filter, a good amount of towels and utensils.Just IMO, the small refrigerator was a little loud when trying to sleep and there's a bunch of spiders and red ants inside due to the garden outside, just assuming.Nearby spots 10mins from Coast Village rd (Bree'osh Bakery Cafe, Honor Bar and Luckys Steakhouse) 10mins away from the SB pier Great locationSecluded location and during this time very lush and nature vibes. What a wonderful studio getaway in Santa Barbara. Studio is just as pictured- modern, secluded and very comfortable. From the sectional and large screen TV for movies to a very comfortable bed and modern beautiful shower and steam room, It has everything we needed for the two of us to enjoy a few nights away. We loved the location close to the trails but not far from restaurants and shops. Hope to be back and would most definitely stay again. The hosts are warm and welcoming but also allow for your privacy. Thanks you!!

The studio apartment is attached to the house (which is unique and stunning) but feels private because it's down some stairs with its own entrance. It's as nice as the photos show, and what's even nicer is that it's in a beautiful and very quiet neighborhood with properties that are far enough apart for everything to feel private but also give you the chance to see beautiful houses dotting the landscape. The only thing that could have been better for us personally is if the bed were firmer, but that is just personal preference. We enjoyed being close to anything we wanted- you can ignore the city and be totally in nature, or be at Trader Joe's in 10 minutes. The Hot Springs hike was less than 10 minutes' drive. Breakfast at the Boathouse was less than 20 minutes away. We definitely recommend this as a great find!
