Hoa Beach, Pool and Tennis. Great Location in Tahoe City -Northshore Townhouse
*Tahoe is a beautiful and fun place to visit, but occasionally this area can be affected by extreme weather events. While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Moon Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.

Outstanding property, clean, well-furnished, close to everything!
We stayed here over the holidays and skied at Northstar. This property is an easy drive to both Northstar and Squaw/Alpine. The interior is clean and roomy, and has everything we needed for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Internet speed was outstanding. The property manager was super-friendly and easy to communicate with. Instructions for check-in and check-out were clear and easy to understand. We will definitely stay here again!
We had a really nice stay at the Northshore townhome. It was stocked with the basics (although no hand soap in the bathrooms which I found odd). The best part was the access to the pool and private beach.
My only complaint was the cleanliness of the bathrooms, which is why I’m rating a 4 out of 5. The showers didn’t feel thoroughly clean when we arrived, but everything else was great.

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed your stay at the Northshore townhome and appreciated the access to the pool and private beach. We apologize for the oversight regarding the hand soap and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Please know that we are always happy to deliver hand soap and other items if you let us know, and we can send the cleaners back if something does not meet our standards. We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you back soon!
Worked out great. Went for a lacrosse tournament. Ended up only being 5 minutes away to the fields. It was perfect for what we needed. It’s older and could definitely use some updating. No AC in the unit in July Had to sleep in the basement to stay cool. Luckily we didn’t need the bedroom upstairs.

Thanks for sharing your experience and we are so glad to hear our condo worked out for your group. It is in such a great location but unfortunately, like most Tahoe homes, it does not have AC. But in the future feel free to reach out to our local staff and we would be more than happy to share our tips and tricks for staying cool!

Great Stay at Northshore Condo
My wife, 13 year old daughter, 10 year old son and myself had fantastic week based out of this condo. It's conveniently located for biking along the path to Tahoe City and beyond. The private beach is great and when the wind came up on the lake it's a short walk to the pool. The condo itself had everything we needed including a large supply of dishes and silverware. It's great condo community and everyone we met (both owners and other renters) where very nice and the area has a great vibe. Tahoe Moon does a great job of communicating prior to and throughout the stay and responded to my questions very quickly.
We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Thanks for sharing your experience! We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your time in Tahoe and we hope you come and stay with us again soon!
I rented this property for a week with my kids (12 and 15) and ex-husband. Great layout and absolutely fantastic location. 2 mile bike to Tahoe City, close to hiking trails and stand up paddle boarding spots. The unit was clean and comfortable. No bells and whistles here, but perfect for a family. If I was coming with my girlfriends, I'd stay at something more luxurious. :)

perfect
This was a very nice condo, completely furnished including everything you would use at home, coffee pot, toaster, etc. All utensils, including wine opener. It is a short walk down to the private beach and pier and the setting is amazing.

Family friendly, well maintained and great location.
The property was very nice and we had a great time with our family. The beach was awesome, private with umbrellas and chairs available and it was easily accessible.. Unfortunately due to the unusually higher than normal temperatures the week that we were there, we definitely noticed having no air conditioner. We did purchase a couple of small fans for the next occupants however! We would like to go back again.

Dollar Point Condo
We rented this condo for a week surrounding a friends wedding. The condo was clean and well furnished, your typical 3-story townhouse. Since we were sharing with friends and family, this worked out since there were a couple of layers and separate bathrooms.
We did have to call management to do a rapid cleaning as the previous occupiers had left a mess. But I must say they handled it promptly and we were all set.
The best part of this condo's features is the private lake access. We brought a couple of kayaks and we could lock them by the lake and get to them any time. It wasn't much of a walk at all down from the unit. That was a tremendous convenience. The guy running the beach was very nice and helpful as well.
Town - Tahoe City - is a short drive away. Beware traffic jams on weekends, get in and out early. There is a nice bakery walking distance for coffee.
