LESS THAN 500 FT FROM OCEAN!! Steps to the beautiful Crystal Coast Beach. Open living and dining with updated solid surface countertops in kitchen and baths, tile and hardwood floors. Private enclosed outdoor shower for cleanup after your day at the beach! Beach access only 2 doors down. Enjoy the ocean views and breezes from large covered front deck, the living room and your master bedroom window. There is also a covered front porch with rocking chairs and an extended porch for sunbathing. Perfect for a peaceful relaxing family getaway. Plenty of room for boat parking in your own private parking lot. We do not have cable TV only Internet TV, if you are not familiar with how to use it then you will likely not have TV during your stay. We also do not provide sheets, this helps to keep the cost down on our cleaning fees we incur. This is not a five star place and neither are our prices. It is a nice clean house with a five star location to the beach where you and your family can enjoy a week together.
Just bring your own linens (2 Queens and 2 Twins) sleeps 6.
You must be 28 or older to rent this property. NO SMOKING PLEASE. In 2023 we now allow a small dog 20 pounds are less with a pet deposit.

Cox beach trip

Wonderful quiet area and beautiful scenery. Great view of the ocean plus a really short walk to the beach. Cute beach cottage. My son and his family stayed as we overflowed this year. Kellie was very accommodating and allows dogs which is great! She gets back to you quickly with any concerns or questions. It was a really great location and stay. Had just the right amount of room for my son and his family . Thx Kellie for being a great host! Back in Minnesota now oddly warm but no ocean.

Very much appreciated nightly rental opportunity. Great location. Beautiful place! Only complaints was WiFi was slow and not smart tv in bedroom. Also, plastic protector on mattress very loud to sleep on.

Beach getaway

We had wonderful time as always at the beach. The property was was amazing and couldn't ask for a better location and beach access. We will definitely be looking at this location for our next trip

Excellent location especially for families

First I will say that Kellie, the owner, is excellent. She was very communicative and handled any issues we had upon arrival. Initially I would have scored lower, but because she was quick to reply and fix our issues in a timely manner, we were very pleased. Would stay again! The location was just perfect for our family since we have littles and have to carry a lot of things to the beach. It’s also centrally located by Atlantic beach and Beaufort which were both towns we loved exploring.

Perfect in every way

We spent about week here with 4 children and it was perfect! The rooms are big enough to send the kids away at the end of the day when you’re all exhausted (parents will understand how important that is 😂). Everything was exactly as described. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful porch to relax on. Very quiet neighborhood. Will definitely rent again.

Dog hair was on couch and its pillows. Dog hair on mattress covers. Dirty bedspread in one of the bedrooms. Uncomfortable bed in room with dirty bedspread. Nails protruding on deck and wooden bench. Floor was dirty from previous guests.

Had the BEST time

The location alone is the best selling point of this property! I could not have asked for a better location. Beach access a few steps away. Quiet area, minimal traffic and the beach was very secluded. Perfect for letting our pup run on the beach! The house was just like the photos- had everything needed! Would 100% stay again!!

Fun getaway

The house was in a great location with easy beach access in a less congested area of Emerald Isle. The accommodations were comfortable and our host Kellie was welcoming and responsive to questions.

Felt right at home.

It was "just right" as, Goldilocks would say. First impression was comfortable without worrying about walking on egg shells. Perfect views from the front deck, quick stroll to the beach which was not crowded. Felt very safe. Thank you for sharing. Will certainly be back for a longer stay.

Emerald Isle getaway

Excellent location, plenty of space inside, and easy access to the beach. We appreciated the outdoor shower and the hose to rinse off. Neighborhood was quiet at night, and we would definitely stay again!

Great Beach Stay!

Great location and just a stone’s throw away from the beach! I was down here on a job for just over a month and this place was a perfect fit, a very quiet and peaceful location. The owner promptly addressed any minor issues we had to ensure a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a great location at a reasonable price, this is the place for you. Thanks again Kellie!

Great location

Overall, this property location can’t be beat! If you’re not familiar with the area, you won’t be super close to groceries / restaurants here (that’s why we like it), so plan accordingly. If you’re a clean freak like myself, this property may not be for you. It was pretty obvious upon arrival that the cleaning crew just bleach wiped some things (we had to air the place out) before our arrival. I did a quick cleaning of my own and got up so much dirt / filth from countertops and table surfaces, so you may want to do the same. We hand washed our dishes as the dishwasher was disgusting. The deck is awesome (we spent most of our time here) but it is shared with the unit next door (there’s a privacy wall). Luckily, nobody was there for our stay. Some of the deck furniture is damaged, so be very careful before sitting! Overall, great spot - may book again for a single night, but would not book for longer than that. Again, I may be a tad high maintenance, but I would not shower at this property which wasn’t a problem for our short stay.

Great location!

Overall, was perfect for a 5 day stay. Spent most of our day at the beach. The shower door was broken when we got there and Kellie had it fixed the next day which was great. The description says there is a guest book to share your experience in but I didn't see one. Would have enjoyed reading what other guests found enjoyable about Emerald Isle. This property.was perfect for us!

EI Duplex

Gorgeously updated duplex with modern beach decor and furniture. Comfy beds, great location and listing as advertised, cant beat being so close to the ocean! Cleaners were at the property when we got there delaying us getting in on time by just 25 mins, but they did a good job and were courteous. A few items are in need of maintenance (broken deck chair, broken back deck steps, overgrown weeds and vegetation on the side and back of the property) and the neighbor's motion detection light came on every 5 minutes but for 2nd row at EI this was a great deal!

Perfect location, close to everything there is to do.

Very nice place to stay; within a few steps to the sand and ocean; size and layout of this duplex was just right for the 4 of us. This location was perfectly between all of the things to do from The Point to Morehead and everything in between. Kellie responded quickly to my questions and minor concerns, which did not outweigh our time spent here. Thank you for sharing your second home.

What a wonderful stay!

From booking to the end of our stay, it was an amazing experience! The location is absolutely wonderful and only a very short walk to the beach. It’s a beautiful location and when we will certainly revisit when we return to the area. The owner is very lovely and a pleasure to communicate with!

My husband and I purchased this property in hopes of retiring here one day. Right now we both enjoy working and living in the RTP area. We try and make as many trips to the Coast as possible. I have traveled many places and truly feel the NC Coast has some of the most beautiful beaches of anywhere. We would love for you to come and enjoy our house and make it an annual tradition to come every year with your family and friends.

Why they chose this property

I grew up near Eastern NC and always visited this beach as a child. It has many wonderful memories to me and I'd like for my children to have some memories there as well.

What makes this property unique

It is within a few miles of the new public boat dock and has ample parking in the yard for your boat and/or at least 4 vehicles. It is close to shopping, restaurants and site seeing in Emerald Isle. It is also close enough for a trip to the NC Aquarium, Beaufort, Swansboro and Fort Macon. You can also take a ferry ride to historic Shackelford banks or Cape Hatteras.
