We very much enjoyed our stay! We have family in Lewes and visit often - happy to discover this home! There are very few places near the bay that are large enough to accommodate extended family.The cleaners were rushed thanks to traffic so we did need to do some extra sand sweeping on arrival, but nobody's fault and not totally unexpected being so close to the beach!Communication with the host was superb. He was even patient with us when we got home to discover my 8-year-old accidentally stole their bedspread! Mailed it back immediately. The only thing that surprised us was that the room with all the twin beds is a thoroughfare, necessary to go through it in order to get to all the other bedrooms. My teenagers were not thrilled with the lack of privacy, but we moved some things around and made it work. The inconvenience was more than made up for by such excellent communication with the host, plenty of places for the family to spread out, and fully stocked kitchen. The less-mobile members of our group were able to get down to the beach more often because of the boarded path over the dunes at our beach access point - which as far as I know, is the only one on all of Lewes beach!Would definitely return in the future!
