The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was very accommodating and quick with communicating. Great location for walking our dogs.

Thanks for staying and thank you for the nice review!
Allen, the host, was pleasant, polite, and courteous while being respectful of our time and privacy. He even left a note for us, with some chocolates and a dog treat for my dog, Tohbi, who was the whole reason for the trip to Raleigh, from New Jersey.
The home could not possibly have been any cleaner. Beautiful, spotless, cleaner than a new build. I am so very fussy about a comfy bed--my mother used to say that I was like the princess in The Princess and the Pea--and the bed that I slept on was perfect. Not too firm; not too soft. Just right! The neighborhood was your typical, middle-class, suburban neighborhood, but very close to every thing and every amenity you could possibly want. Allen has thought of every detail. If ever I find myself in Raleigh, NC, in the future and need somewhere to stay, I would not hesitate to stay again.

About the host
Hosted by Allen Smith
I'm originally from South Carolina and I've lived in the Raleigh area for over 40 years. My wife was born and raised here. I'm a REALTOR® and a DJ. My hobbies are mountain biking and golf. I enjoy being a host because I can draw on my real estate and customer service experiences to hopefully provide a good guest experience to you.
Why they chose this property
One reason we chose this neighborhood is that my wife and I have lived most of our life in North Raleigh. Another reason is it's location. The house is in the edge of "Midtown Raleigh" and just a couple of miles away is the shopping and restaurants at Midtown and just a tad further is North Hills. You can also get to downtown and North Carolina State University fairly easy. It's also been convenient for people going north to the WRAL Soccer fields or connecting with family or friends in the Wake Forest/Rolesville area. We also like that it's an established neighborhood with mature trees and sidewalks.
What makes this property unique
I think one of the best features of this property is the back yard. It's nice and flat with plenty of space. The deck is a nice feature of the back yard and the Blackbird griddle style grill might be a cool unique experience. The griddle style grill enables you to cook things that would normally fall through the grates on a traditional style grill. Smashburgers, rice combos, and breakfast items are some popular examples.
