Mountain Views from Private Hot Tub and Balcony and Large Windows

This multi-story mountain home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms sleeping 11 across, one king bed, two queen beds, a twin-over-twin bunk bed, one twin bed, and an additional full pull out sofa. It features beautiful wood vaulted ceilings and large windows, perfect for taking in the mountain views and allowing for natural light. There are outdoor seating areas in this vacation home; one is located off the dining room, and one is off the bunk room. This vacation rental has an open concept kitchen, dining, and living area which allows for ample gathering space. Snuggle up by the gas fireplace and enjoy a movie night or board game in the cozy living room. There is also a private garage to keep your vehicle out of the elements. Conveniently located near Keystone Resort, you can quickly get to the slopes.

When you enter this home, you will find yourself in the living area which features mounted hooks for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The main level you will find the open concept living room, dining room and kitchen with an additional study with a pull out sleeper sofa. Large windows allow for natural light. Off the dining room there is a spacious deck and a private grill.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. The dining area seats eight and there is seating for five more at the breakfast bar. The main floor guest bathroom is just off the living area, next to the kitchen which has a walk-in shower. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The master bedroom is straight ahead at the end of the upper-level hallway. It features a king-sized bed and an en suite bathroom. The bathroom features a double vanity and walk-in shower.

The first guest bedroom is just across the hall and features a queen bed, flat screen TV, and access to a guest bathroom. The second guest bedroom offers a twin-over-twin bunk bed and views of mountains through the trees. The guest bathroom on this level has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination. The clothes washer and dryer is also located on the ground floor. For your convenience, laundry detergent is provided.

The house was pretty clean, but we were not aware that it does not have AC and when we arrived the house was 84 degrees. It took about 24 hours to cool down to 74 with the windows open. Be aware that if you rent here, you won’t have AC. The beds also have very firm mattresses, so if that’s something you aren’t okay with, just make a mental note. The trash drop off location is pretty far from the house, so we did have to make a separate trip the day we left. Other than those issues, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful bookish weekend at this property! The size was perfect for 5 adults. We made great use of the comfy couch in the living room, the hot tub, and the kitchen. This is a lovely property and would stay again. I will say, the photos make it seem a bit more updated than it is but it’s still a great option. We had a little trouble getting in to the house but the management team was very responsive and was able to get us the correct code to be able to get into the house. Unfortunately, the fireplace was not working during our visit so that was a bummer. We were impressed with the array of cooking equipment provided. We preferred to cook our meals at the house so we made good use of it.

Family ski trip

Stayed here while skiing at Keystone. Great location. The house was clean but needs some maintenance. Door from house to garage would not close. Stove has an electrical issue where the igniter wouldn’t stop at times. Hallway bathroom door upstairs has a major crack in it that you can see through.

Nice time

We had a nice time at the property. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after the day’s activities. Floors throughout the house could have been cleaned. Only real problem was that not all the windows had screens so we ended up with flies in the house trying to cool it off. No air conditioning so had to open windows and use box fans for airflow. Otherwise it was a nice time and close to all the activities we wanted to do.

Lots of room

The pictures on the web make the rooms look much larger than they are but we had plenty room. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit . The living room fireplace was nice and the kitchen had much of what was needed. However the carpet really needs cleaning and upkeep. The handle on the window in the master came off I’m my hand when closing it. A faucet handle came off in the shared upstairs bathroom, and it would be great to see a manual on the hot tub and fireplace. There is a fan with broken blades also.

Great location but not clean upon arrival

Location, large jacuzzi in the back, and the overall space in the house were great for our needs. Upon arrival though at 9 pm we discovered that several things were not right. While the pictures showed a more modern pristine interior, the property was not maintained: garrage was filthy, walls in the den and hallways had stains, couch in the living room and the chairs there had stains and were dirty, throw pillow in the living room were full of stains and falling apart (i just put all of them in a corner and never used them), door from the kitchen to garrage had a huge hole in it that was covered with a gatbage bag (yes!), some of the blinds in the bedroom blinds were broken ... and some otjer things. So tired upon arrival the first thing we had to do is call and email property management. What a joy. They did respond and then the next day at 5 pm (right when we were coming back from skiing and wanted to relax) the deep cleaning crew came and cleaned. Then tbe day after maintenance came to look at the door and the broken things. Of course during our time there when we wanted to relax. The door and the other things were not fixed during our stay. So overall, the management was responsive but why don't they send someone beyween actual customer stays to check if the property is up to standards. Why had I as a customer had to do their job?

We needed something uncomplicated and close to Denver. We just wanted to show up with duffel bags and chill. They had locked the inside door and when I called the provided number they answered quickly and helped me get in the place, very professional. So amazing to have linens and towels included, amazing hot tub, and incredible house altogether. We returned refreshed. Thank you.

Plenty of Space

Overall a great space for 2 families to enjoy a ski trip. We were under the impression that 2 bedrooms had direct access to a bathroom and that’s not the case. 3rd full bath is on 1st level with no bedrooms. Kitchen is fully stocked. We did have a couple issues that never got fully resolved. One being the hot tub that was unusable the last day unfortunately. We were also a good almost mile walk to the nearest shuttle but we should have paid more attention to that when booking. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space.

Good property Major Maintenance Issues

Overall the stay went well. Plenty of room and close to the mountain. However, when we returned from skiing on one of the days we had no heat, no hot water and no electricity in one of the rooms. This was an obvious problem as there were over 10 space heaters in the house. It took maintenance 5 hours to come to the property. The batteries were dead in the thermostat causing them not to work. The first person could not fix the hot water heater. We had to have another person come back out to fix the hot water at 10 pm. Very frustrating with two young children. In addition, the driveway, steps and back deck were not shoveled upon arrival making it the first thing we had to do. If they can get the maintenance issues under control this would be an ideal property.

Great location but home needs some work

We loved the location for our family vacation. We were able to walk .25 mile to the shuttle stop and didn’t have to use our cars. The house had all of the dishes/pots/pans we needed for a family of 9. The heated floors downstairs were very nice in the morning and the hot tub worked great!Unfortunately, the house was not clean when we arrived. There was dirt and small bits of trash on the carpet of living room, the carpet smelled like wet dog, the sheets had dirt/stains on them and the couch had a large stain. The management company was very responsive and even offered to send a cleaning crew over to fix the dirty areas but we had already moved in and declined. The upstairs shower did not drain well leaving the next person having to shower standing in a puddle. The beds were all a hard memory foam, which may be nice for some, but were too hard for our family to sleep comfortably. Overall the location was the best part about this house!

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
