Thank you for your feedback. We regret that the location by the main road and the backyard conditions affected your stay. Many guests love the convenience of being on our town's main street, and many of the local hotels and motels are right next door, but we understand that that's not for everyone. The A/C issue has been resolved - it was a bad controller on a brand new system, so hopefully it will not give any more trouble for years to come! Good afternoon Michelle, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We regret the inconvenience caused by the air conditioning issue, which was also mentioned in the review by the person who stayed before you. Unfortunately the control panel on the brand new central air unit failed while still under warranty and we had to wait for the part tor repair, and we provided a portable unit in the meantime. There may have been some miscommunication as there is no reason why the portable unit had to be set so low - it can be set at any temperature, and could be moved to the living area during the daytime when the bedroom was not in use to cool that spade. That said, the AC has been repaired, so there should be no issues in future stays! We hope to welcome you back and provide a better experience. Best wishes, Bretton Woods Vacations
