The complex is an older building but is fairly well maintained. 4106 is recently renovated and is very comfortable. The view is stunning. Right on the ocean. Waves crash on the sea wall. It was conveniently located close to shops and had easy access to everywhere we need to go. Really enjoyed our stay.
This was my 4th stay at Sea Village, but my first in this condo. The unit was comfortable, well-appointed, and had a killer ocean-front view. The property is also well-located, providing easy access to downtown Kona as well as points South.
The exterior of the unit could use some maintenance, and the whole of Sea Village could use some soundproofing, but aside from these issues, I'd be happy to stay in this condo again!
A very quiet and peaceful place! Everything was upgraded nicely. Also, a great view of the harbor! Most of the time it was comfortable, but at night, it got a little warm for sleeping. Two little things: the floors were dirty enough to darken our feet and when we ran out of toilet paper, we had to buy our own. Otherwise, we liked having beach chairs and beach towels and a pool available to us. One last thing, we were unable to use the Lanai because the surf was hitting our patio door which made the deck and the chairs wet and salty all the time.

One of the highlights of this home is being ocean front. However, with the winter swells we can find that water will spray or splash onto the lanai.

Needs attention to detail
We found the bed and pillows very comfortable and the shower was squeaky clean. The bedroom windows are directly under the stairway and within steps of the parking lot. Privacy and noise is an issue with guests coming and going all hours. The lanai view is beautiful but is on the hot side of the unit which limited our use. Kitchen is equipped with the bare minimum. This won’t be an issue if you prefer to eat out. Housekeeping could do a better job of cleaning prior to guest arrival and 4106 needs a few fixes that we shared privately with the rental agency. Grounds were
beautifully landscaped and parking was convenient. The Vanillerie tour in Kona and Hot Glass in Hawi were our favorite adventurers this trip.

Clean and Comfortable - Our Kona Home Base

We loved our condo! The ocean view was perfect. We could see the dolphins playing in the morning. The ocean breeze was refreshing and our unit was very quiet at night. The bed was quite comfortable as well. This unit was perfect for just the two of us. And it was great how many beach chairs the unit had plus the large cooler and umbrella. We had a great time visiting several beaches and having the chairs and shade was really appreciated. One little thing worth noting - the kitchen didn't have any oils or spices when we stayed. We didn't have anything to cook with beyond just salt and pepper. To be clear, the kitchen was fully outfitted to cook with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The lack of spices definitely isn't a deal breaker - we worked around it. They just would have been nice to have. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Aloha and thanks for the great comments. Unfortunately, there have been reports of people leaving contaminated items in homes. So no one knows what the last guest did with any left over food items, so for liability reasons we remove/discard any opened items. It is sad, that we have to do this, but if someone gets sick from something left in the home, the property owners and the management company will be the ones held responsible?
Great location and value, a little outdated but has the basics
Check in process was efficient and easy, although with all of the new covid rules it would have been nice to have been given the actual address to the property instead of the office when applying for exemption. The place was clean minus some small details like air vents and base boards but overall the space was exactly how it was advertised. The location was awesome! There is a rental bike station right in front of the property with drop offs right next to all the major spots in town, and the lanai was amazing, we woke up to whales and dolphins almost daily. One thing to note if you smoke their is no smoking on property and it's a small walk to the nearest smoking area which was not convenient for our group but overall it was an awesome experience and great location for the price.
It all was good. It was very comfortable and all our needs met. Management responded quickly when we made 1 call for supplies. We would rent this condo again.
We stayed at this 1 bedroom Oceanside condo for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Years. We saw a whale right off the lanai and watched a pod of dolphins go by another day. The washer dryer worked well and we put the kitchen to good use. There were beach supplies and a lot of items that made it convenient to explore the island. I’d highly recommend this condo for a couple or small family. One improvement would be the beds- the king in the bedroom and the fold out couch were bearable - especially as the pounding waves pulled you to sleep.

Aloha and Thank you for your feedback. The sliding door is a storm door for protection and safety in the ocean front condo. The owner is having the wheels oiled and lubricated to work more efficiently and has had her contractor adjusted the bathroom door. The owner has also replaced the sheets and linens
This is my 8th time in Kona, but first time in this resort and condo! We could not have been happier! Fifteen feet from the ocean; hear it while you sleep; watch wales and dolphins play every day; being able to work in the kitchen with that view. Those are the things that are most important to us, and this condo offered. Would stay again for sure!

Pretty much as advertised. Great view. A little too much noise from other rooms.
Loved this special place. Gorgeous view and everything we needed. My daughter and I had a special time together and I will definitely return with my husband. Easy check in and easy parking added to the ease of our stay. Green flash coffee at the entrance made our mornings easy as we ventured out. Location is close to the main town for convenience but far enough away from the hustle and bustle.
We have stayed many times at this condo. Beautiful spot And we are very comfortable staying there. Always a pleasure!
