Thanks Diana, it was a pleasure hosting your team at the cabin. I really appreciated how easy it was to communicate with you. Please let your team know that they are welcome back anytime and my cleaner also appreciated how well they took care of the place. Thank You!
The house worked out really good for us. The area was fun to explore. If we had a need to be in area again would not hessitant to rent again.

Hi Steve,
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m so glad the house worked well for your group and that you enjoyed exploring the area. It’s always great to hear that our guests feel at home here. We’d love to have you back anytime, and if you’re ever in the area again, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thanks again for choosing our place, and safe travels!
I stayed in this cute cottage for 2 nights. Interior was rustic, which I love. It was refreshing to see that the original wood had not been painted over. Appliances and bathroom are updated and the beds are comfortable. Bathroom had plenty of fluffy towels. Location was perfect as it was just minutes from the Clock Tower and everything else I wanted to see and do. Check in and out is easy as the host is very accessible and responsive, even including a guide to things to do and see in the area. I would definitely stay here again.
A friend and I stayed here for four nights. The property is indeed cozy and comfortable. We used this as a base to travel into Cleveland to visit the Cleveland Museum of Art and attend a Cleveland Orchestra concert. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom with a queen-size bed in lieu of staying in the upstairs room with a king-size bed. The upstairs room was stifling hot and the A/C unit seemed incapable of significantly cooling the room. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future should the opportunity arise.
We enjoyed our stay in this cute and cozy home away from home. We stayed on the main floor to be close to our 10 year old.
We were in town to spend Thanksgiving with family, and still have our own space; this for the bill perfectly. House is well equipped with everything needed. The host is responsive and accommodating.
I appreciate that the host is earth conscious. We try to be as well, however if you’re going to be doing a lot of cooking, plan of purchasing some storage containers, ziploc
bags, foil etc.for leftovers. We only cooked breakfast at the house and had no leftovers, but plan to come again and will plan accordingly. This trip was the week of Thanksgiving and family kept us well fed ha! We did eat out for breakfast the morning after we arrived at nearby Molly Browns (just down the street near the clock tower) and can recommend the huevos rancheros - delicious!
Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. the air purifiers are a great touch and really appreciated. We’d recommend this property to friends and family looking for a rustic, cozy place to stay. This spot will be my preference when we return for our next family visit.

The cottage building itself is a little bit rustic, and the interior walls are original, but everything else is updated, clean and well thought out. The host is environmentally conscientious and dedicated to the comfort of her guest. The beds were comfortable (I checked out the king bed but slept downstairs) and weighted blankets and sleep masks were available in each bedroom. The kitchen was fully equipped and even had extra water bottles if you’ve forgotten to bring one. The bathroom had plenty of fluffy, soft towels and shampoo, conditioner and body wash were available in the shower. Automatic soap dispensers were available at each sink.
The host provided extensive and detailed information about the cabin and an comprehensive list of everything that is provided, as well as an online guide on how to use the electronics, places to go/things to do, dining opportunities, shopping, etc. The host is very responsive to emails and super helpful if you have any questions or concerns.
The neighborhood and surrounding area are walkable and the lake is beautiful. I’m hoping we’ll return during the warmer months to take advantage of the boating cycling opportunities available in the area. When we do return, we will definitely be staying at KC’s Cozy Cape.

Welcome Guest!
I originally intended to write up a lengthy backstory about who I am and how I came about becoming a short-term rental host. But then honestly, I lost track of time. Eh...who has time to read these things anyways! I'm sure you're more excited about your upcoming trip and want to spend your valuable time planning out all the fun (or relaxing) things to do when you come and visit!
ABOUT ME: If you do find yourself wanting to kill some time then here's the bullet points about...me 😊
>I'm a senior release engineer from SoCal >I'm kind of an introvert (what? a programmer that's ALSO an introvert? What are the odds?!) >I'm definitely a health nut and LOVE outdoor adventures (hiking, biking, exploring, you name it!) >I play guitar and love to learn about music (been playing on and off for over 20 years now and I still consider myself a beginner) >I collect LEGO...mostly minifigs (AFOL here!)
IT'S JUST ME: In case you were wondering, this home is managed by...you guessed it, me! I'm not a company or real estate mogul that buys properties and then hands them off to a well-oiled machine of people behind-the-scenes making this place run. Yes, I do hire local cleaners and handy-people and plumbers to clean and fix things (I said I was a senior release engineer...not a senior-release-engineer-professional-cleaner-licensed-electrician-marshmallow-whisperer-jack-of-all-trades person jeesh). But other than that, it's mostly me. I'm definitely not a fan of auto-bots (the chatting kind, not the Transformer kind) so if you have any questions or concerns or suggestions then let me know! And know that I, as the owner and host of the property, will be the one seeing those messages.
