We arrived late evening was greeted to beautiful property well lite! The gouse was as pictured and described with no complaints! We brought our 4 grandchildren to the property and they enjoyed as well! Had games available for us to play woth kiddos. The deer and the creek beside the house was a hit with us and the kiddos!
Let me start by saying that my husband is very picky when it comes to staying anywhere. He was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the beds were and how well equipped the kitchen was. We all loved the property! The owner of the property was very responsive to all kinds of inquiries. We were there for snowboarding at the Beech Mountain Resort, but we also had the opportunity to stroll around Beech Mountain and Banner Elk for shopping and dining because it was close to everything. If we decide to vacation at Beech Mountain again, we will definitely stay at this property again!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this cute house. Even though there are many houses around, it was very quiet, minus my favorite part which is the little creek that runs beside the house down the hill. There are 3 bedrooms, two downstairs and one upstairs. And 2 and a half bathrooms. The upstairs is perfect for little ones as there is a bunk bed and two twin beds. We only used the master bedroom and bathroom during our stay, but we did take a look at the other rooms. Communicating with the host was fast and easy. She communicated with me anytime I had an issue, which was mostly with the keyless entry, which was more so probably mine and my husbands fault more than the hosts fault. Other than that we had a great time here. One thing to think about before booking is there are several stairs from the parking area to get to the house, so it’s not wheelchair or stroller friendly. Other than that I don’t think there is anything else that I would say about this cute little house. Again we really enjoyed our stay here, and would once again like to apologize about bugging the host every day about the keyless entry situation.I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and would definitely stay here again. Thank you again for a wonderful time!Much love Cristin and Gary Banks
The day before leaving we were granted a late checkout from the landlord and I gave her my personal cell phone. On check out day, during a snow storm, we asked for a few more hours to check out. The owner never repsonded, so we assumed no issues. 5 hours later and well after we left the home, the owner finally responded and billed us for another nights stay plus extra fees, then threatened to "come the home" if we did not leave. I am glad we were not still there as that was a conerning message.
The house was exactly we needed for our family vacation. The location was so close to beech mountain and just right outside was the cutest gazebo next a little stream.
Nice place to stay. Check-in was easy and house was clean. Recommend for families. The way up the steps was difficult for two 83 year olds but they enjoyed the trip.
The cabin was comfortable and clean. The mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We appreciate being able to bring our dogs. We would stay here again.
