We enjoyed our stay! Plenty of towels, beds, and room for our bunch. Hot tube was nice after the long trip from GA. Communication with host was great. If you plan to cook, bring storage bags or containers. You can find a grocery store of your liking within 8-23 minutes of the house. Hansie Flip Burgers was the best dinner and (about 5 miles) north of Williamstown, Beans Cafe & Bakery in Dry Ridge has an amazing breakfast.
The host is great. Very responsive and respectful. The house is beautiful. It’s an older house, but that’s a bonus. It has so much character with modern conveniences. It’s close to town and the Ark Encounter.
The property itself a spacious place for a big group. Unfortunately the bathroom doors don’t lock properly the upstairs bathroom had locking issues. The Sofa bed thats in one of the living rooms is a thin mattress it was not comfortable. The inflatable beds available did not hold the air they diflated later over night. Overall I would give it an 8 the house has enough space and rooms to serve the purpose of a quiet get away.
Great Location for visiting The Ark and the Creation Museum.
We loved the quaintness of the town and the home. Home was big enough for our big family and 2 1/2 baths was a plus for us as well. We enjoyed our stay!
Very spacious property with enough gathering rooms for individuals to hang out as a group or have some alone time. This property is a must see and well worth the money.
The mayor's house is a beautiful antique home with plenty of room to sleep. It lists 16, but I think 18 could sleep easily. However, you should be aware that the antique door knobs on the bedrooms and 2 of the bathrooms do not lock. The upstairs floors are very creaky, if that would bother anyone. Also, if you plan to stay for more than a day or two, like us, you may need to buy some more supplies. We had to go purchase more trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, and such starting on day 2 of our 6 night stay. There were a few small maintenance issues, but overall it was a fine stay. I'm glad we were able to find a place to fit our large group that was reasonably priced for us to visit the Ark, and surrounding attractions!
Having a place to stay with our large family that was within minutes to the Ark Encounter was great. It isn't often we can get everyone together like this.We tried to make everything as nice as we could before we left, so the next people could enjoy it as much as we did.
A wonderful place to stay for our 17 member family. Check in process was seamless and the host was very responsive to my questions. A wonderful house that was extremely clean and lots of room. Very close to the Ark Experience. I would rate my stay excellent and would highly recommend.
We took our children & grandkids to see the Ark Encounter and the Mayors house worked out good for us! We stayed 4 nights! It is a Beautiful Victorian older house that was supplied with what we needed! The only thing bad would be the ants, outside & inside, but it is Summertime!
We came to visit the Ark Encounter. It was very close which made this house super convenient. The piano, games and space in this house made it the perfect place to stay with a large family! Owner was attentive and quickly answered any questions. We highly recommend this home!!
This house is 5 minutes from the Ark, which is why we were in the area. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There was plenty of room for both our families in this house.
There were 6 of us. Justin responded to each of our concerns. Great location. Plenty of room and AWSOME game room. Comfortable beds. Overall a great place to stay!!!!
We stayed here for a family reunion and toured the Ark for my mom’s 80th birthday. With a large group of people who traveled from many states away, it was especially nice to have 2 kitchens. From the teenagers on up, everyone had a good time. The house was nice, clean, and the A/C was cold even in hot July. Thank you!
The home is amazing for a large family stay. Had a few hiccups, however the owners came to fix the issues. Hot tub did not work, but they really put every effort to get it to work. About 15 min from the Ark. Would defin stay there again and highly recommend! Great amount of space for parking as we brought our 32ft motorhome and had no issues parking with plenty of room.
