The property was great. The view of the sound from the deck was amazing, we even saw orcas a couple of times. Jack was great host very responsive to our needs. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again.
We visited for the weekend and it was amazing! The location is beautiful, with great views of the port. The host’s instructions on site were great and answered any questions we had. The beds were comfortable and the house sleeps lots of people! We can’t wait the have a reason to come back!
The house was not only in the perfect location for our event, but it was beautiful! Everything was very well maintained and stocked beyond expectations. With a group of 12 we had zero complaints and a wonderful time.
Thank you! We would book it again in the future.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! We appreciate the kind words and look forward to hosting your group in the future.
A most beautifully appointed home. We'd buy it if we were in the market! Spectacular views, the best equipped home we have ever rented. We are locals and familiar with the area, so when our home remodel was not completed in time for the holidays, we found this gem. Worth every penny... we may come back for a mini-vacation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unique, charming home. The kids loved wandering through and finding all the hidden nooks and crannies. We had an issue with the furnace, but Jack and Colton were quick to try to solve it. (Houses have issues from time-time- that’s to be expected. And we deeply appreciated their efforts to solve the problem in a quick and timely fashion). We appreciated their prompt responses and thoughtfulness.
This house and the owners provided a wonderful experience for my husband who retired from the coast guard and our family. There’s an attached bedroom to one of the bedrooms which was not only a kids bedroom but a cool playroom with a tent that my son insisted in sleeping in. There was a ton of sleep space which could sleep at least 4 kids. Waking up to the view was amazing. The owners were just incredibly thoughtful with cookies, wine glasses, adorable kitchen and best of all, the porch! I’d definitely stay there again and would recommend this place for anyone!!
This was my childhood home, so when we discovered it was on VRBO we had to book it for our family Christmas. It was everything we could have hoped for! The hosts were AMAZING! They provided a beautiful tree for us and a thoughtful welcome gift. The home has everything you could want and more. We felt instantly at home and I didn't want to leave. I have missed this home so much. It's the heart of my childhood and now my daughters and grandchildren got to experience it too. It was also wonderful to be able to bring my 86 year old mother back to the first home she purchased with my dad. We will definitely be back!!!! Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for us!! welcome gift.
The Perry House was above and beyond my family’s expectations for our trip to Washington. Jack had explained the keyless entry and it was very easy to let ourselves in. The house was accommodating for our whole visit. The decor of the house was so beautiful. When we needed to adjust the thermostat, Jack replied to a text quickly and efficiently. The coffee bar was much welcomed in the mornings. The deck offered a great view of the water and the landscaping is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay at the Perry House and would recommend it to anyone who has a large crowd. The only downside was the traffic in front of the house… it is a much traveled road. It can easily be overlooked by the beauty of the home. Jack is a 5 star host !
We had a great time staying at Perry Landing. Place was clean and well-appointed. Water view was incredible. Only three complaint's, none of which are the fault of the property owner. 1) The roadway below was a bit noisy when sitting outside enjoying the view. 2) Coordination between the Port Orchard foot ferry and the Washington state ferry system could be better (we arrived at the Bremerton ferry dock just as the ferry to Seattle was leaving. Would have been nice if the Seattle ferry would have been scheduled so that we would have been able to catch it). and 3) the roadway below (Bay Street) was really narrow and scary to walk on especially if you were walking a dog from the Port Orchard foot ferry back to the rental unit.
However, each of these complaints have nothing to do with the actual property and other than these three issues, our stay was great!!
In the years I have rented houses, I have never seen such a well stocked, truly well taken care of home such as the Perry House. My sister and husband were not only impressed but so was the godmother of my children and between us...we've seen a few! We even had two dogs with us and it was as comfortable as being "home"...but with room for 10! We actually cooked most of the time and I think the only thing I would ask for would be an empty pantry to store our groceries for the week. Otherwise the kitchen is filled with literally pots, pans, a rice cooker, mixer, spices, serving dishes, wine glasses, coffee maker, food storage, measuring cups, full sets of dishes, silverware, etc...and as far as we could tell everything is brand new. The bedding and furniture is comfortable and plentiful. The security is well thought out. The yard is large and being worked on to be made even more useful and beautiful. The view of the Olympics are incredible and listening to the "SeaBees" wake, work, and 'announce' sunset become something we became fascinated with. A member of our group even mistakenly left behind an iPad and it was promptly sent so that we had it the next day by noon! Truly above and beyond service! We simply could not have asked for a more relaxing enjoyable experience!

Originally from Spring Valley, NY, I am a recent transplant to the Seattle area from Minneapolis, MN as of 2022. What drew me to the area is the refreshing temperate climate, mountains, water, and greenery Washington has to offer!
Why they chose this property
The views from most everywhere along the street are breathtaking, and that certainly drew me in! This neighborhood is privileged with a great vantage point to take in the gorgeous mountain and water views.
