It was a perfect spot for us to sleep while joining extended family renting on the lake. I think this would be an ideal fall, winter, spring spot to stay for anyone. We unfortunately couldn’t take much advantage of the well stocked and very clean rental since we spent most of our time lakeside with family.

My husband and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The home was very clean and nicely decorated as a cabin. Diana communicated very well with me during the process. We were not far from downtown Long Lake and about 30 minutes away from Tupper Lake. I think our only complaint would be the view, the pictures make the backyard look bigger than it is and we were behind a home that was a eyesore otherwise it was excellent!

Lazy Bear Cabin

Staying at "The Lazy Bear Cabin" was a delightful experience. The cozy atmosphere, tasteful decorations, and impeccable cleanliness made our stay truly special. It felt like a home away from home, and we couldn't have asked for a more inviting retreat. Highly recommend!

Overnight stay

Stayed over night at the beginning and end of a canoe trip. Everything was better than expected. The house was very clean and perfect. Cant wait to stay again. Would absolutely recommend if looking for a getaway.

A Restful Evening

A one night stay that was perfect. My husband and I wished we could stay longer. Quiet, clean, and convenient to the Hamlet amenities. The property had many unexpected amenities…snacks upon arrival were a nice touch and much appreciated. Comfy bed, pillows, and living room space.

Graduation Success

We had an amazing time at the Lazy Bear Cabin. We were here for our son’s graduation from SUNY ESF Ranger school. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We had fun playing some games and being together as a family. If we plan on coming back to the area we’ll definitely be booking there again.

Super clean. The air conditioner in the bedroom was loud and made sleeping difficult but it it was comfy and perfect for us otherwise. we were so busy with camping family that it was busy, busy, busy. We would go back.

The property itself was very well maintained, The location was good neighborhood ok. Ecologically there were styrofoam plates for use otherwise an odd assortment of dish wear.

Spectacular cozy cabin

Cozy cabin, perfectly clean, comfortable bed, lovely living room, outdoor seats around a fire pit. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of bathroom towels provided, convenient laundry room. Snacks on the kitchen counter was a welcome surprise. Quiet neighborhood. Excellent communication with owner, Diana. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return when we’re back in the area.
