Property was an older rustic cabin. Didn’t realize only bathrooms were on 3rd floor and main living/kitchen on 2nd floor. Beds were comfortable. Area was nice and quiet. Had issue with stove and unable to cook. Owner was very responsive and had great service recovery.
We were very disappointed with our stay at this cabin. Upon first entry, we noticed spider webs and dead spiders above the door, cobwebs throughout the kitchen and even in the shower. The overall cleanliness was poor, the towels were left in the dryer, half still wet and smelling of mildew, the pillows also smelled musty, the dish rack was dirty, and the coffee pot was moldy. The outdoor areas were equally neglected. The patio was dirty, the outside table was rotting, and the barbecue grill was not cleaned. Even the propane tank looked grimy. The listing itself felt misleading. The photos of the creek made it look accessible, but in reality, it was blocked off by fallen logs and foliage, and was just a small stream. There were also photos showing a hammock, but there was no hammock on the property at all.Overall, the lack of cleanliness, misleading photos, and poor maintenance made this cabin very disappointing compared to expectations

Definitely the worst guest I've hosted in 13 years hosting (host score: 4.87 out of 5 stars, 740 reviews.) Wish I could include here photos the cleaner sent me documenting how her group trashed the place. Of the 5 cabins I host, this one ranks highest: (review score 4.93) and the owners consistently upgrade it. Her review is replete with inaccuracies, dishonest spin, and unintentionally humorous nitpicking. Ex: Access to the creek is in no way "blocked off" by fallen logs. The propane tank 150 feet way from the cabin is dusty?! Heaven forbid!! Ruined vacation! The good news is guests this awful are so rare they kinda round to zero.
