With all this being said, this remote location does come with some inconveniences. This cabin is in the wilderness. While we work hard to manage mountain critters, you can expect to see the occasional mouse or insects in the cabin. As the saying goes, there is no stopping Mother Nature.


Additionally, during the winter months, the Ludwig is a great home base for activities for those seeking adventure in the snow. Guests can enjoy activities like snowshoeing through the serene landscapes, cross-country skiing, photography or simply cozying up by the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa after a day of winter exploration.
