A great, comfortable, relaxing, beautiful cabin in the mountains and trees. Great to sit on the deck with a cup of coffee and watch the hummingbirds and chipmunks. The quiet road around the lake makes for a nice stroll with stunning views of the mountains nearby.
We loved our stay at this great little cabin. It was just perfect; exactly what we were hoping for. Lots of nice considerate touches to make our stay easier, quiet, and peaceful. We’ve already shared this little gem with friends and hope to make it back there ourselves.
The cabin in the San Juan National Forest was cozy and peaceful. The kitchen was fully stocked. Clean cabin with a comfortable vibe. The back porch was my husband's favorite spot to watch for deer, and other wildlife. Many different kinds of wildlife we saw from the back porch.
Loved the location and peacefulness of the house. Drive up was gorgeous and the property itself was wonderful and just what we were looking for! We loved walking around the property and area. Will stay again if in the area.
This was "base camp" for us while we explored the area. Didn't spend a lot of time there during the day, but the evenings were awesome. Had a small fire and cocktails on the back deck. So relaxing!
We found this quaint cabin to have all the amenities of home with a fully stocked appliance kitchen. We cooked daily. Pet friendly a plus. Our two boys made it their home away from home for a week. When we arrived it was snowing and when we left it was in the 70’s. There was a floor runner that was a plus with the elements, so that we didn’t have to worry about soiling the carpet.
We loved the peace and quiet. We made friends with the squirrel on the backporch. We named him Taz and had him on our lap by the end of our stay, so bring some Cheez-Its.
Very quiet and roomy. Lots of places for everyone to go for walks in the evening. Short distance to Pagosa Springs and outdoor adventures.
All bedrooms are upstairs and a secure stair and hand rail to get in the back deck would have been nice. We would return here.
This is the perfect getaway! The cabin is a little drive (30min) from Pagosa Springs but the woods surrounding the cabin are stunning. The cabin was very comfortable for our family of four. This is the second time we’ve stayed here because the location is beautiful and the cabin has everything you need. My only complaint was the carpet smelled strongly of urine.
