Wonderful Mtn cabin with stunning views! Really enjoyed the amenities such as the hot tub, well stocked kitchen, plenty of deck seating options/levels and comfortable beds and bedding. Fantastic place & location for a weekend getaway!
The cabin was spacious and had most everything we needed. The views were spectacular, especially the sunsets from the hot tub. There are a lot of entertainment options at the cabin that kept us busy for days.
Property was fantastic! Very clean, well stocked, very relaxing, enjoyed the wrap around porch, deer watching and game room. Communication with host was excellent. We look forward to our next visit!
Clean house with a spectacular view!We stayed here for a weekend to hike Grayson Highlands. The house was clean and fully stocked, with ample pillows, blankets, towels, etc. The kitchen description in the listing is not complete, so we brought a lot of extra things, as many items were not listed in the description. However, the house had everything you could possibly think of to cook comfortably at home.We loved the fire pit and the hot tub! It’s such a nice way to end the night while still enjoying the outdoors and the beautiful mountain views. We caught some spectacular sunsets! It was so thoughtful to have everything we needed for the grill, not just the grill itself. There was plenty of firewood as well.We enjoyed all the little nooks and sitting areas around the deck. We spent plenty of time just hanging out outside, playing cards, and enjoying the views.A few of us noticed the beautiful details throughout the house that made it feel like a true mountain home rather than a rental. We truly appreciated that! The bathrooms were gorgeous and clean, and the bedrooms had plenty of storage and closet space. The host was exceptional—quick to respond, very accommodating, and welcoming. We highly recommend this place for families or groups of friends!
We enjoyed the views from the back deck and the house was beautiful. The kitchen could use a few more utensils (spatulas, wooden spoons) but the rest of the house was stocked very well! We’ll be back.
We cannot over emphasize the amazing quality of the view. Just amazing. Be sure to bring deer corn for the herd that visits the back yard nightly. We found the location to be magical and appreciate your sharing it with us very much.
we had to end our stay abruptly due to a tropical storm leading to torrential rain, no power and no water. The host was amazing with keeping in contact with us. Beautiful place will stay here again.
Very well kept and maintained property.
Awesome views, the best I stayed at so far.
The owner was very helpful and was easy to reach.
The only thing that I wished.
Was that I was the owner. Smiles.
A+ on everything about this beautiful cabin.
I'm spoiled with this place.
The views at this property were absolutely gorgeous. It’s quite isolated, and google maps doesn’t route you very well. We enjoyed a trip to Damascus about an hour away and a hike at Greyson Highlands. I was thankful for my Subaru to get around the windy roads. We spent mornings and evenings on the wrap around porch. The three levels gave each of us privacy. The master shower was very nice with excellent water pressure. The hot tub was perfect after our bike ride and hike. We also enjoyed watching the deer.
The cabin was perfect. The layout was great- we have a teenager and an 8 yr old, and the 8 yr old is a little afraid to sleep alone in a new house. The upstairs has a bedroom and a loft, so they started up there with one in the bedroom and the other on the pullout. Then they moved downstairs so they could be closer to the big tv and the pool table. They had plenty of room and their own bathroom. The porch and the view were all I needed. We spent every morning, parts of the afternoons, and every evening on the deck enjoying the view. I could have stayed forever. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. It’s close to West Jefferson, Sparta, and lots of hiking. Absolutely the perfect location.
