The property was exactly as marketed. It fulfilled all of our needs and our check list. Not just oceanfront or beachfront. It's on the beach and we had a wonderful ocean view. Nice balcony to sit and enjoy breakfast and dinner. Wonderful stay. We've decided to stay longer next time!

Great unit at Ocean Dunes!

We were able to check in early which was a real treat in mid-July! King bed was very comfortable. Nice upgrades in the kitchen and loved the tile walk in shower. Perfect for a couple. This unit is on the 4th (top) floor with fantastic ocean views. Highly recommend.

All was great, only knock is the ice machine isn’t plumbed for water so no ice. No biggie. Bought some trays and moved on.

Perfect in every way!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is EVERYTHING, but the cleanliness, decor, and view elevate this condo to our very favorite rental! Waking up just before dawn, brewing coffee in the kitchen, and then being on the beach in under a minute to watch the sunrise was spectacular. Then sitting on the balcony in the shade with the ceiling fan running for happy hour drinks made for the most relaxing evenings. This spot on the beach couldn't be more perfect, with the silky sand, ultra wide beach, and not-too-busy-at-all space for our favorite beach activities (like sitting at the surf's edge or playing our paddle ball games) more enjoyable than most Atlantic coast beaches we've been to. We walked to the town square for ice cream, and the biking paths could take us anywhere we wanted! We had excellent weather with comfortable ocean temps and the heated pool was clean and quiet. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay view was awesome. When we arrived on Saturday we could immediately see the floor had not been cleaned had a good amount of dust and dirt on it. The silverware was dirty as well as pots and pans. I notified Vacation Time of Hilton Head and she did offer to send a cleaning crew out but we declined due to already occupying the condo. I did mention the silverware being unsanitary and she did not have a response. We had already purchased plastic silverware and paper plates before our arrival. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The condo could use some upgrades.

Loved sitting out on the patio in the morning and watching for dolphins. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. Our only disappointment is that the pictures on the listing show the pool for the property next door in several photos which makes it seem like that pool is for this property, when in actuality, it is not. The pool for this property is the smaller pool. It wasn't a big deal for us as we love the beach. But if we had been choosing a property for the pool potential we would have been very unhappy.

Great place for an intimate getaway

That didn't stop us from riding bicycles on the beach (with down jackets on) and visiting a public sculpture exhibit at the Coastal Discovery Museum.What can I say about Ocean Dunes #407? Very conveniently located, nicely appointed and clean. Has a great shower and the appliances all do their job adequately. Great views of the beach and ocean from the third floor. TINY bedroom...the king bed makes it feel even smaller, but we didn't spend a lot of time there!!Ocean Dunes is at least 30 years old but seems to be very well maintained, especially considering the harsh weather conditions on the coast.

Ocean Dunes Villa 407

The Villa is as described. Beautiful area, easy walk to and from ocean, amazing view from balcony and you can absolutely hear the ocean! Beach chairs/ boogie board, and noodles provided for guest which was wonderful! Perhaps a basket with at least two beach towels could be added. The unit is clean, and property, though not brand new, is well maintained. We were not disappointed and have discussed renting this very unit, annually. Location is fantastic to everything on and off the island, and aside from a bit of traffic, convenient from Savannah International Airport. Laundry conveniently on level, just have quarters handy. I must agree with other comments I’ve read that the mattress, and I will add, pillows (some staining) should be replaced. We did roll into the center 😂 and it really does give a guest peace of mind when bedding looks and smells fresh and clean. Please don’t misunderstand… the owners have done a beautiful job with this property, and we were very happy. If the aforementioned suggestion is considered, this condo would be perfect!!

Bad Bed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Best first! Great location and view. Nice updates. Kitchen could use some better utensils. The worst was the bed. Part of the problem seems to be the mattress, very saggy, not comfortable for me (I don't like a hard mattress either just not one that leaves you feeling like you fell in a hole.) could the supports for the bed? Property Manager only wanted to argue with me, did not try to listen to the complaint (they did offer for us to move to another unit but that is not how I wanted to spend 1/2 to 3/4 of a vacation day), and the owner said they just stayed here and it was fine. Not the right response at all. Neither was willing to the feedback and learn from it. I will not return to either this property or one managed by this group - Vacation Time Hilton Head

As we all know the comfort of a mattress is a very personal thing. We offered to move the guest twice to another unit with a mattress that suited his taste. He would not move and wanted us to pro-rate his stay based on the number of hours he spent in the bed. 9 hours per day. He was very unreasonable and impossible to make happy. The mattress in this villa has since been replaced in September 2021.

Beautiful Views from Fourth Floor

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week at the ocean in Hilton Head. This villa is as close as you can get. You get to see all the beauty and action on the beach without asking in the sun. We spent a couple hours at the beach or pool each day. But we also enjoyed the convenience of having breakfast, lunch and dinner on the balcony watching the action some days. The villa is well equipped for two people. It may be tight for four people, particularly with only one bathroom. Parking was easy. The elevator and luggage carts made it easy to move in and move out. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within a 3/4 mile walk. Even a major grocery store. The only negative was once in a while you could smell smoking from the balcony below us. The furniture is getting a little worn, but everything looked clean. We plan to go back to this same unit next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: People like Kristin, Michael, Jimmy and Albert at VTTHI reception on Lemoyne Avenue made our return visit worthwhile. They moved our villa immediately because the original was next to a villa being renovated. And the new location was well located and quiet during our entire stay. We have been to Hilton Head Island MANY times and we have always appreciated the friendly and helpful face-to-face services provided by the Vacation Time of Hilton Head Island team. The villa was very nice but could benefit from addition of a dining room table plus a black out curtain over the bedroom window to block out the security light outside. The light over the stove needs to be replaced.
