Inconvenient

I had several problems with this rental. Check in was a 4 pm and smoke alarms were immediately chirping because of low battery. I called the property contact and was told to take the batteries out. These are wired alarms. So, that doesn’t work. Property contact stopped answering and wouldn’t return calls. They did nothing to address it. I eventually went to Walgreens and bought 25 worth of batteries and replaced battery in every smoke alarm. Problem solved but shouldn’t be my problem. While this unit is very nice on the inside, adjacent units are not. The area felt unsafe in general. People two houses down kept fighting in the street. I suggest looking at the area in street view before you rent.

I’d like to clarify that the home was fully inspected prior to your arrival, and everything was in good working condition at the time of check-in, including the smoke alarms. Battery issues can sometimes occur unexpectedly, and while I appreciate you taking action to resolve it, I wish we had been given the opportunity to address it directly. As for the neighborhood, while we understand it may not suit everyone’s preferences, it is outside of our control. That said, many guests have felt comfortable and enjoyed their stay. We always strive to provide a clean, comfortable space, and your comments help us continue to improve. Thank you again for staying.
