This place was amazing! It had everything we needed for our long weekend. The kitchen has plenty of coffee, teas and snacks, and the unexpected baked good made breakfast so tasty and easy.We would definitely stay there again !!

We loved our stay at Basecamp! The quiet neighborhood and its proximity to campus and downtown were as advertised. All the home’s spaces were comfortable for 6 adults, and the house had everything we needed from any kitchen item you can imagine, to a great fire pit in the backyard. Jane was extra responsive to our specific check in needs and her instructions were thorough. We’d love to visit again!

This pet friendly property was perfect for what our family needed. Jane was very communicative and even dropped off a loaf of homemade bread from the local market. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed, all within steps of the IU campus and local park. We would definitely consider staying at Base Camp again!

We had a great stay here for our daughter's wedding. Location was very convenient to everything. The house was perfect for us- everyone had their own bedroom. There were plenty of towels. Kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy, Dog friendly house in a quiet neighborhood close to campus. Hosts were greats leaving treats for us and our dog. Super comfortable beds.

WOW. They meant it when they said the location is great! The home was spotlessly clean, and there were a ton of nice conveniences such as hot cocoa, fuzzy blankets, and just like everything you need for a Bloomington foray. The hosts did a superior job of striking a balance between the craftsman charm of original features with modern amenities.

Perfect Couples Getaway

Base Camp was the perfect place for our couples’ weekend. The owner communicated well leading up to our stay and everything was as expected. The owner even put water/drinks in the fridge and had a little care package for us (snacks/cinnamon chip bread). Those little added extras made a big difference & we will definitely stay here again!

Great experience overall! The house is nice, clean, and very comfortable. Its in a quiet neighborhood near campus with all the amenities you need for an easy stay. The rental process was super easy as well, with very communicative and flexible owners. The one issue we had during our stay was promptly addressed on the weekend. Would definitely stay again when I am back!

Burnett family VRBO experience

Great house, perfect location, excellent for our two dogs who traveled with my wife and son to visit me during a two week work shift in Bloomington. Very tame deer every night and morning in the neighborhood and yards was very cool. First VRBO for me but was simple, easy, clean, and fun.
