- The pool and spa can be heated for a daily fee of USD $100, or just the spa for $45/day, with a 3-night minimum. Please let our team know if you would like to add this at least 24 hours in advance.
- Stays of 30 nights or longer are managed by P.S. Platinum Property Management, Inc. (DRE 02215202) and are subject to additional lease terms.
- Maximum occupancy of 3, sleeps 2 people in beds (1 King bed)

We spent 5 happy weeks at this property.We did not meet our host, however communication was always easy. This space was very clean, it looked like they recently updated the kitchen, living room and bedroom.The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed.The bed was comfortable and so was the couch. The front and backyard with pool were beautiful with comfortable outdoor furniture. The location was exceptional for walking everywhere. You just have to be ok with some steep hills. The town of Cardiff is a 5 minute walk down hill where you can get coffee, ice cream, pizza, açaí bowls. Mexican food along with so much more. Also a great but pricey supermarket. A minute from town is the PCH with the rail trail where you can walk for miles in either direction. We definitely recommend this property and would return next time we need a place to stay in San Diego.

Beautiful cottage

Nice cottage with great pool and spa. Very comfortable. Unfortunately we had plumbing and septic issues during our 6 day visit. Property management was very responsive and helpful but the issue persisted even after having the septic pumped (out). Still a very nice place!

Very nice secluded coastal getaway

The house and listing were very accurate - this is a really nice and cozy spot in Cardiff, just up the hill from the beach. The backyard is well appointed with pool, spa, fireplace, and grill. We did pay to have the pool and spa heated for our December trip and that worked out great. It does take the spa 20 minutes or so to get hot, so turn it on up when you arrive! The house was very clean, the bed super comfortable. All the communications with the host were answered and helpful.

Amazing pool and outdoor space

Loved our stay here!! I thought the pictures might be trick photography, but the pool, hot tub, and outdoor living space were absolutely amazing!! We paid to have pool and hot tub heated. Upon arrival the hot tub felt cool, and property manager quickly responded, and we learned the hot tub heats up additionally when you run the jets. Felt great after that!! Pool fabulous too! Such a cute and lovely property. Great location - short drive down the big hill to all the coastal towns, restaurants, trails and vibe. And easy access to freeway. Freeway is visible and audible in the distance over the fence, but didn't bother us. Great place!

Backyard Oasis!

The backyard is truly an oasis and can be enjoyed year round with a fireplace to enjoy on the cooler days and evenings to the backyard seating area and pool in the warmer weather. There is a gate around the pool for added safety if you have little ones. The neighborhood is quiet and you have a place to park your car in the driveway. There were beach chairs provided which was also a very nice touch! It was very chilly the first night but the small stove style fireplace and potable heater warmed the unit quickly. We would stay here again!

Charming with an amazing pool

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were some bumps along the way, like a cold pool for the first few days and the fact that it was unseasonably cold (Jan 2025) with heating issues, but don't let that deter you from staying here. It is small and older, the wash & dryer are outside, but it more than met the needs of my husband and myself for a much needed getaway. The town is close, the beach is close, the highway is close and you do hear it :), but a little music or turning on the waterfall helps and it fades a bit. This place is unique and clean, well stocked for 2 people. The Management was helpful with the different issues that came up so that really helps in settling problems during your vacation. I would go back and would recommend, the king bed was lovely as well as the backyard.

winter getaway

My wife and i stayed for 2 weeks in february and we enjoyed ourselves . I did not give it a higher rating because of a couple things.The house was clean and comfortable but the freeway is directly below the house and the noise is unbelievable 24 hours a day. Then the smell ,when you go outside it smells like sewage depending on how the wind blows.I contacted the managers and they had the holding tank pumped but it did not help much.We paid 45 a day to heat the hot tub but it was so hot we couldn't use it so i contacted management and it took a week for them to get the temperature changed so i paid for a week for nothing . I have a hot tub at home so i know about them but they have contols locked and remotely controlled.Other than that the bed was comfortable and we used the kitchen for most meals and found it adequate . The neighborhood is nice and the town and beach are easily walkable for most active people.
