About this property

There are 5 cottages included this listing and as the calendar only allows for one booking at a time so please send me an email to assure the date you want is available. During the months of July and August, at Easter and Christmas/New Year we require a 7-night stay but the rest of the year you are welcome to come for just the weekend!

These wonderfully spacious holiday homes are furnished and decorated to a very high standard.

Each cottage can accommodate up to 9 people in both style and comfort. There are four beautifully decorated bedrooms - two doubles and two twins one foldout bed that can be used in the common areas. The open plan area of the ground floor consists of a fully fitted modern kitchen, a large dining area, and a superb conservatory. On the first floor, there is a beautifully decorated and furnished living room.
Within the enclosed grounds, there is an indoor play area, an outdoor play area. The award-winning XL convenient store and off-license are just next door.
Portsalons wonderful blue flag beach is less than a 5-minute walk from the cottages. Another 5 minutes walk bring you to the entrance to the golf links. Portsalon Golf Club has been extensively redesigned in the last few years and is now one of the finest links courses in Donegal.
The village of Portsalon itself is situated on the Fanad Peninsula. Knockalla coast road offers a spectacular drive overlooking Lough Swilly and Inishowen. The Fanad Peninsula Scenic Tour is a 72 km signposted circuit of the peninsula through breathtaking scenery.
For a holiday experience where a fantastic beach, a superb golf course, and beautiful scenery are all on your doorstep, look no further than these wonderful holiday cottages in the lovely village of Portsalon.

A word about WIFI: Because of our remote location we cannot provide reliable internet access. Most of our guests view this as a feature keeping the kids off their screens during the holiday! Nevertheless, should you need internet access there is free wifi at the local pub and golf course lounge.

Relax by the sea

Very relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable stay. This is a beautiful cottage with everything we needed for our stay. The host was very pleasant and very helpful when we met her but as ardglass cottages are situatedover two sites it took us an hour to realise this as our Google maps

Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, alles erforderliche war vorhanden. Unglaublich schöne Umgebung, die Lage etwas erhöht und mit Blick aufs Meer. Von den Verwaltern gab es Tipps zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Leider war der Aufenthalt mit einer Woche viel zu kurz! Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Family Break.

The property was perfect for our stay. Spacious and well equipped. The location was ideal with an excellent beach right on our doorstep. Perfect for a family holiday. Nice place to stay

House was spacious and there was both and outdoor and indoor play area for the children on site. 10 minute walk to the beach. It was as advertised with the addition of basics already in the house. Would recommend it.
