The cottage is situated on a family run sheep farm, nestled in the hills near Glenveagh National Park and a 10 to 15 minute drive yo Letterkenny Town. Close yo Glenveagh National Park, Errigal and Muckish mountains. Steeped in history, this cottage was restored in 2004 by its current owners and has been in the family for 5 generations. The cottage was owned by an elderly lady and her daughter in the famine days and to this day, her fireplace and gable wall has been lovingly maintained in her memory..and forms a beautiful part of the main bedroom. Oil heating is the dominant heat source and the owners recently added a wood pellet stove to the unique fireplace in the living room, bringing a beautiful relaxing feature to the home. The mezzanine has a sofa bed suitable for 1 person and the loft has a single bed in the kids area which also has toys and books, an ideal retreat for children and teenagers.
