Welcome to the Summer Winds! Locally owned and managed easy, clean home 10 minute walk from Kill Devil Hills Beach. Avalon pier close by. We will accept small or medium sized dogs pending approval and additional non-refundable security deposit. The home is fenced in. Recently updated with appliances, flooring and paint. Bikes, Beach Chairs, Beach cart, Corn Hole, Tiki Toss, Sand Toys, Porch swing under house, Hammock - All available for your use. Sweet screened porch for morning coffee. Close to Target, Food Lion, Movie theatre, Lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Outdoor Shower, picnic table, grill, washer and dryer. Take a bike ride along Bay Drive to see SPECTACULAR sunsets. There is a park and public launch just minutes away to put your paddle board or kayak in the sound. Full Kitchen with dishwasher and small oven. Note this property is located on the west side of Croatan Highway.

Laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher soap
Personal care items - shampoo, soap, conditioner
Helmets for bikes
Beach towels, we provide linens and bath towels but you are free to bring your own.

Came to OBX for a wedding! House had everything you needed., We loved the outdoor space!! We loved they had All cotton bedding. We were close to everything! We had the best time!!Debbie was a great Host!! We hope to stay again!

Perfect home in a great location

House was super clean and very well stocked with things we needed. Debbie was fast to respond to any questions and made sure we arrived and got in ok. Fenced in backyard was perfect! And the hangout area under the house was awesome. TVs in every room we’re a plus. Great neighborhood, was perfect for walks to the sound to watch the sunset from the public pier. Loved the walking path along the sound. Convenient location, was close to everything we wanted to do! Updates with lights on the stairs were made from reading a previous review. Had no trouble seeing in the dark. Would recommend 10 out of 10!

Perfect house for our busy vacation

The house was perfect for our very busy vacation. It fit 6 (2 adults, 4 kids)of us with no issue. I originally rented this house because I was going to bring my puppy but decided it best for him to stay at the pet resort not far from my home. I am very happy I kept the reservation because the house was perfect. All my family (18 of us) were able to have dinner there one night and it worked out great. The adults loved all the deck space and the table under the house. The kids were enamored with the lights and the hammock. I will say the oven is small but mighty. We cooked 8 homemade pizzas in there with no issue. (Dollar store pizza pans fit in there great.) Debbie is also amazing and so sweet. I managed to lock the key in the laundry room and she came to the rescue super quick. It was so nice to meet her even under those circumstances. The house is located in the middle of everything but once you are in, the outside world just disappeared. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us.
