Chalet Lulu Brienz Studio - comfy traditional Swiss chalet

Chalet Lulu Brienz Studio is inside a traditional Swiss chalet with postcard views of the Alps and Lake Brienz. It is the most authentic way to fall in love with Switzerland, and Chalet Lulu Brienz Studio is the perfect place for 1-2 adults to have a real Swiss experience. It is located only a 7 minute walk uphill from the main train station which provides you the good views.

Designed with comfort in mind, Chalet Lulu Brienz Studio is ideal for 1-2 adults who are self sufficient travelers. It is a 25m2 (277sf) ground level studio apartment inside a traditional Swiss chalet and includes 2 very comfortable beds, free washer/dryer, private ensuite bathroom inside the apartment, private ensuite kitchen inside the studio apartment, free parking, work desk + printer, and everything you need to feel at home.

KING SIZE BED
Two natural latex mattress beds on 2 separate bed frames (each measuring 90cm x 200cm / 35.5" x 78.74”) with no space between the mattresses make up a king sized bed with luxurious down feather pillows and down feather duvet blankets. The bed frames can be separated if you want space between them.

KITCHEN
Inside the private studio apartment is a kitchen with dishes, silverware + chopsticks, drinking/wine/coffee cups, pots/pans, oven, knives, cutting boards, spices, Nespresso coffee maker, hot water kettle, Raclette + Fondue sets, rice cooker, microwave, bread toaster, and refrigerator with freezer.

LAUNDRY
Free use of a washer/dryer + detergent inside the chalet in a shared laundry room. Because of quiet hours 10pm-7am, please no laundry during this time.

PARKING
Free parking directly across the street from the chalet

LOCATION
Chalet Lulu Brienz Studio is only 5-7 minutes walk to public transportation (Brienz BE train station & Ferry Boat Dock), grocery, attractions, and to Lake Brienz where you can walk along the promenade or relax lakeside in the free lounge chairs provided by the village. Lake Brienz, which is one of the deepest lakes in Switzerland, is perfect for all water activities such as swimming, renting motorboats, pedal boats, SUP's, and even hot tub boats!

CHALET RULES:
This studio apartment is part of our personal holiday home. Please be respectful and do not treat it like a hotel.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY
2 Adults - the space is not suitable for children or infants

SHOES
Please no outside shoes inside the apartment. You may place your outside shoes next to the white coat rack, or in the wardrobe, or outside the apartment door. House shoes/slippers are provided.

TRASH/RECYCLE
Trash and food waste should be deposited in the container under the kitchen sink. If you want to remove this trash bag, you can place it in the green bin outside in front of the garage.
Recycle information is on the door under the kitchen sink but the recycle bins are Inside the laundry room which is located in the main hallway of the chalet next to the stairs.

BATHROOM
Please do not remove handheld showerhead and only use the showerhead inside the shower.
Please do not alter or modify any plumbing.
Please do not connect anything to any water/plumbing fixtures.
Please keep bathroom floor dry.
Please use the dehumidifier to remove the moisture caused by warm/hot shower to prevent mold.

CLIMATE/HEATING
The apartment has radiant wall heating system. Please do not exceed Level III.
For warmer days/nights, please use the floor fan and open the windows to allow fresh air to circulate.

VENTILATION
Please open the windows 1-2x daily for minimum of 2-3 minutes to allow the studio to be filled with the fresh, clean air from the Swiss Alps. Chalets need to "breathe" and opening the windows helps to keep the chalet in good condition.

AROMAS/SCENTS
Please do not cook with aromatic items such as fish or curry or strong spices. Please do not use strongly scented oils/perfumes.

CLEANING
No cleaning is required for checkout.
Please remember this is not a hotel but rather a part of our personal family holiday home. Please treat it with respect to avoid an additional cleaning fee as determined by the cleaning company for excessive dirtiness or scent removal.

NO SMOKING
Please no smoking or vaping in/on property.
One of our family members who occasionally stays here is a lung cancer survivor. So, we appreciate your understanding.
If you need to smoke/vape, please do it off the property and away from the chalet with a minimum distance of the gravel parking lot across the street.
CHF500 fee + cost to remove smell/odor/aroma if not followed.

PETS/ANIMALS
Please no pet or animals because one of our family members is allergic.

QUIET HOURS
10PM-7AM (Brienz Village Rules). No laundry during this time.
