About this property

Discover the perfect coastal retreat at our charming casita. You'll love the location with Carlsbad Village and South Oceanside beaches, fantastic restaurants and shops just a walk away.

Enjoy a quiet, well-equipped guest house perfect for a couple or a small family with a bedroom, living room and kitchenette. Outside you'll find outdoor seating, a firepit, BBQ island, ping pong table and bocce ball/cornhole court. This outdoor space and the full laundry room are shared with the main house, which we do not rent. If we're there, we keep to ourselves. We're new to Vrbo but "SuperHosts" on other platforms and have over 95% 5-star reviews.

We also have 3 bicycles, boogie boards and beach chairs available for free to our guests.

Best rental I've ever had!

So,so happy with this property! I took a chance because there were no reviews yet and I'm so glad I did. It was the perfect place for my 4 day birthday trip. A couple or small family would be equally comfortable. Everything is clean, comfortable and updated. The kitchenette is well stocked and sufficient for snacks and basic meals. There's a microwave and refrigerator, as well as toaster oven and hotplate. The only other applicance I would suggest would be a blender! The bed is comfortable and there is decent closet space. As with most rentals, there is no full size mirror which wold be a nice addition. (not a lot of empty wall space, but maybe behind the front door?) Being able to park in the driveway was very convenient, as the street parking was sometimes pretty full. Everything went very well, so I didn't need to contact the hosts much, but when I did they were prompt and friendly. Overall, it was probably the best rental location I've ever been to. I got a "new listing " discount, so once it starts racking up great reviews I probably won't be able to afford it again, but I'm so glad I got in early! PS Loved the city and the neighborhood as much as the casita.

We love to travel! We split time between Oceanside, Pasadena, and our Airstream trailer. We enjoy finding new experiences (hikes, restaurants, breweries, water to paddle) as well as basking in the familiarity and great amenities that North County San Diego provides.

My wife Paula and I have both love hospitality and entertaining. We have been in the hospitality business for years from catering and events to hosting and hospitality software development.

Why they chose this property

It's quiet and cute yet so convenient to everything! The houses are mostly bungalows with families. The business districts of South Oceanside (2 blocks) and Carlsbad Village (1 mile) have fantastic shops and restaurants. The beach, lagoons, Oceanside Harbor are nearby. We love that we can stay at our place and not have to get in a car - we can walk or bike everywhere!

What makes this property unique

It's the combination of the amenities, the chill vibe, the well-appointed space, and the location. We have ping pong, bocce, cornhole, bikes, a fire pit, bbq island, and more. Our guests always comment on how nice the location is - convenient and quiet. We keep it clean and always respond to our guests.
