Newly Renovated 1 Br Apt In Oldtown - Short Walk To Festivals & Beach
The apartment is located in Le Suquet, the “Old Town” section of Cannes. Home to myriad restaurants, bars and shops as well as the famous Marche Forville open-air market, Le Suquet is composed of amazing cobblestone streets and is only a short walk to the beach (5 minutes) and the Palais des Festivals (7 minutes). There is no parking onsite, however there is a public garage at 7 Rue Louis Pastour.
The apartment is on the 1st floor (1 flight up from street level) of a well maintained, charming building. While there is no elevator, it is a short flight of stairs! It has been renovated with an all new kitchen, rain shower and toilet, yet still retains its original Mediterranean charm. It sleeps 4 max (2 in the bedroom and 2 on the new sofa bed in the living room). The bedroom can be configured with either 2 twin beds or 1 king depending on your needs. In total there is roughly 35 sq. meters of living space. We are fully equipped with a washer and dryer, all new appliances, WiFi, flat screen cable TV with 160 channels (10 in English), linens, towels, charging stations for both iPhone and Android devices, a 500 watt 220v - 110v transformer for your US electronics and much more.
We are centrally located and within walking distance of all Cannes has to offer. We're also very close to transportation if you want to explore the nearby sites (St. Paul de Vence, Nice, Monaco, Grasse, etc). The train station is a 10 minute walk (with service to the Nice airport) and the bus and taxi stations are about a 5 minute walk. We do not offer parking, however there is a garage close by next to the Marche Forville.

Danielle's father was born and raised in Cannes, and this property belonged to her Aunt Danielle, whom she was named after. Danielle's Aunt Odette owned 'La Sousta' back in the 1980's, a fantastic restaurant down the street.

Great location in the heart of the Suquet. It is newly renovated, close to restaurants, shopping, congresses (7 minute walk) and the beach (5 minute walk). Our neighbors are wonderful too!
