About this property
Newer construction designed to bring the outside in, short walk to the beach
Breezy Palm is a two minute barefoot walk to the Island’s pristine white sand gulf beach. Come here to enjoy the tranquil island lifestyle of this extraordinary out-of-the way location.
Creativity abounds in the design and appointments of this lovely and family inspired home. Four bedrooms (2Q, 1K, and 2T's) sleep 8 people comfortably along with two full baths and one half bath.
This contemporary designed home is hammocked in lush green tropical foliage and affords privacy in a relaxed and peaceful setting. The home is an easy 2-minute walk down a sandy path to the white sand gulf beach. The lower level has a spacious and private pool and outdoor shower for rinsing off after your day at the beach.
The upper level living areas are fully surrounded by screened decks. Enjoy a private lunch or take a nap in one of the chaises with just the sound of birds and surf to keep you company. The well-equipped kitchen features granite counter tops, bar seating and a dining room table. The kitchen and dining area flows into the great room with plenty of comfortable seating and a 55inch flat screen TV, perfect for relaxing after a hike in the nature preserve.
Don’t miss out on the best part of the day and the incredible panoramic island views from Breezy Palm's crow’s nest. Take the outdoor spiral staircase up one more level to enjoy your 360 degree view of the ocean where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine while watching amazing sunrises and sunsets.
Breezy Palms comes with a golf cart, covered parking and outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach. We provide beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, coolers and toys. For an additional fee, a slip may be rented from us at the Safety Harbor Club.
We help you understand & plan for your week in paradise! We are an island without a bridge, which means that you get to take a boat to get to your vacation home. We are waiting for you when you land to take you to your home. Upon booking, we will provide you with a detailed list of options available for transportation to the island and a lot of great options for excursions with local captains. We will meet you at the dock, provide you with keys and drive you and you luggage to your vacation home. We help you understand & plan for your week in paradise!
About North Captiva:
North Captiva is an un-bridged Island 7 miles off the coast of Ft. Myers in Southwest Florida. Fly into the Ft Myers Airport “RSW.” The Island can only be accessed by boat or small private plane with privileges at the airstrip. No gas vehicles are allowed, as the only mode of transportation on the island is by golf cart, bike or foot. This Island is not connected to Captiva and Sanibel.
The island is populated by private homes, and the remaining 2/3 of the Island is undeveloped state land great for hiking, discovering sand dollars or sun bathing on a deserted pristine piece of sand. Due to the remote nature of the Island, many forms of wildlife are present including several protected species. The beaches are white sand and feature some of the best shelling in the United States. North Captiva feels like your own private island where, on many occasions, you might be the only one on one of the finest stretches of beach in Florida.
