Nightmare!
My family and I booked this stay through VRBO with the understanding that it was an entire home and that there was a hot tub. I ended up having to message the host asking for check-in information as I had only an address. We did not hear anything for over an hour and we were already enroute from the US to Canada. We tried to text and then finally called them. There was a bit of a language barrier; however, we managed to get past that. We were told that they would give us a key when we arrived.....they also messaged us that there were two gates and that we would need to enter through the small gate, go down the stairs and that it would be the door in front of us....What?!?!?!? We were sharing this house with a family with kids sharing super thin walls as well as several people in the main part of the house. I asked about the hot tub and was told there was not one. I was then asked if I was wanting the "Master Place" not "Happy Place" because "Master Place" has the Jacuzzi Tub.....Um NO, I am looking for the hot tub that was advertised! I was told no one was staying in the "Master Place" so he would give us a key to the main part of the house so that we could use the Jacuzzi....We declined as that would have been very awkward AND we wanted to be able to soak and relax in a hot tub together not individually take a bath! As if that was not enough.....our 15 year old was coming back down the stairs from getting something out of our truck and saw a naked man!!
